Why do they ask what "gender" I identify as?

Last time I applied for a job was about six years ago, substitute teaching. No race questions. No identify gender questions.

I don't think it's different because Florida is way behind the country's march to Nazism. We still believe in the Constitution.

As a contractor, I'm searching for contracts regularly. The questions for some of them are racist as Hell.

Luckily for you, you can identify as whatever you want. Chances are you can say "part native" and be correct if your family has been here for enough generations. 

Truth be told though, you probably don't want to work for or with the problem children anyways. Sometimes the money isn't worth the hassle.

Why do some applications (job, social assistance, credit card, etc) ask about race? Simple... data gathering. Everybody wants to know the gender, race, age data. We get requests all of the time about this. However, a lot of these questions can't really be answered. When your data is based on a representative survey and the sample size is small.. wanting to know even more granular detail makes it impossible or unreliable.

I've been working for banks for the last decade. Today what I really want and would do it for much less money, would be to help a small company get off the ground.

You might want to talk to someone from Colliers or something like that, who handles rentals/leases for commercial property owners on a regular basis. Pretty much anyone who starts up a new commercial lease or rental will be looking for that kind of service, and not a lot of people buy commercial property when they're just starting out.

Wherever you see an ad on a commercial space for lease, just call that person and give them your contact info. 

All realtors and property managers need contacts for various types of contractors all the time.

I get through life by being honest about who and what I am. I have parents to thank for me having a good head on my shoulders.

Personally, (and this is more interesting than the NAZIS lying about the Proud Boys) I'm amazed that injuns are falling for that bullshit Native American scam. Let me count the ways.

1. When the injuns first migrated to this rock from the far east, Amerigo Vespucci hadn't even been born yet.

2. The colonists who wound up forming states and fighting for independence from Great Britain weren't exactly polite to those injuns.

3. So, somehow in the last 20th Century, someone decides to have the last laugh and come up with Native Americas, NAMING AN ENTIRE NATION OF INJUN TRIBEsAFTER THE ONE COUNTRY THAT TREATED THEM SO BADLY.
