Trump Media Stock Price Falls Forty Percent

I already answered that question, so don't be a jackass.

You asked for logic and I've given it:

Logically speaking, Donald Trump has been a successful business leader here in the US. His history proves that.

Logically speaking, Joe Biden is mentally unfit to be President of the United States. YouTube helps demonstrate that.

What else do you have?

Neither of these propositions are valid or sound.

I may be mistaken but don't you claim to be an educator?

No, you're example was just terrible. lol

What else do you have?

Are all tall people good at basketball? No

Are all rich people good at business? No

Same fallacy, what's funny is now you're arguing logic when a few hours ago didn't even know what it was.

Point out where I said anything akin to that.

Really? Why don't you prove otherwise?

Take a shot at both.

Prove otherwise?

That's not how logic works.

It's called burden of proof, real basic logic

Do you think those were proper syllogisms?

Do you know what valid and sound mean?

Are you trying to tell me that you know absolutely nothing about Donald Trump, and that you know Joe Biden is fit to be President?

Tell me what you think you know and we'll work from there.

Never said Joe was fit for anything, but that doesn't follow that he's not the legitimate president either.

I could tell you Trump had to claim bankruptcy on a casino (which would be evidence against him being a good business man) but that doesn't logically follow that he is a bad business either.

You claimed your propositions were "just logic" but  can't support that. In fact you seem to be completely ignorant to what logic even is

It's like creationists talking science.

Now, let's go through Trump's background:

Career

Donald Trump began his career at Trump Organization. In his college years, he helped revitalize one of his father's failing real estate ventures. Trump began opening hotels and casinos, which provided him with the cash flow to engage in other ventures. He owns the world-famous Trump Tower and is the founder of the publicly traded Trump Hotel Casinos & Resorts. Trump also owns the Trump brand, which sells a variety of items, such as bottled water, steak, and even mortgages. Trump has authored a number of books and weathered changing business fortunes, but despite the challenges that he has encountered, he has continued to be a successful businessman and entrepreneur.

Trump ran unsuccessfully for the nomination of the Reform Party in 2000. Trump considered running for president in 2012 as a Republican. He, among others, questioned the citizenship of Barack Obama, citing his failure to produce his birth certificate. After Obama produced his birth certificate, Trump and the other birthers continue to doubt its authenticity. Obama's approval ratings were around 40% during the peak of the controversy. Trump later exited the race, and gave the customary endorsement to Mitt Romney as the other Republican contenders did.

For his contributions to the gaming and entertainment industry, Trump was inducted into the Gaming Hall of Fame in 1995.

In 2003 Trump began as the host and executive producer of the reality television show The Apprentice and The Celebrity Apprentice, where contestants compete for a position in Trump's organization. On this show, Trump popularized his catchphrase "You're fired!" Trump received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2007 following the success of The Apprentice. However, since he became president, Trump's star as been periodically vandalized by liberal political critics.[28]

Trump is also a noted fan of WWE, and has been a part of some of their shows. Trump was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2013.

In 2016, following winning the presidential election, Trump was named Person of the Year by Time Magazine.

Trump used to own the Miss Universe and Miss USA pageants. Controversy arose when Miss USA 2006 Tara Conner was caught breaking pageant rules by drinking and other activities. Trump gave her a second chance after personally speaking with her and allowed her to retain her crown as she attended rehabilitation. For several weeks after this, Rosie O'Donnell berated Trump for his decision on The View. A bitter media war ensued with the two exchanging insults.

Trump has made many guest appearances, usually as himself, on many TV shows and in several movies. Numerous mental health professionals have diagnosed Trump with malignant narcissistic personality disorder, which means he is good at the art of manipulation and has no conscience.

You said that my two points were invalid.

Do you even understand what you're typing.

Tell me something, SkyHigh, do you smoke pot?

Personal insults the last refuge of the ignorant.

I was hoping to have a conversation about logic with someone who says they're a teacher. I obviously come to the wrong person.

Insults help with emphasis. If I say you're using dumbass examples, then you're actually using dumbass examples.

There is no way in hell that I have, or would ever argue something similar to those two examples.

You literally admitted you didn't know what a syllogism was, therefore you can't know what it means for an argument to be valid.

Here's how it looks

Premise 1) Validity and soundness are essential components of a syllogism.

Premise 2) to understand a component of a whole one must be aware of the whole.

Premise 3) you stated that you were unaware of what a syllogism was

Conclusion) You do not know what is or is not valid

That's logic

Seriously though there's some great books, read some and you won't have to rant about pedofils and such

I didn't and even if I did my views are irrelevant, this was a conversation about logic

He said the fact that Trump was rich implied he was a good business man. I asked him to put that in a syllogism. Nothing more

He couldn't so started saying I have Trump derangement syndrome, because when asked to justify his claims logically he couldn't

But think what you wish

I clarified the example you did try to use, and yet, you're still crying. Why?

Apologies I missed that, all I saw were some YouTube videos and some biography about Trump. None of which are anything like a syllogism

But honestly if I missed it say it again please.

Now who's projecting?

Do you seriously find this type of conversation interesting? I asked a legitimate question with no undertones, to have a discussion with an educator about critical thinking skills, something every one thinks we lack, and instead of having that conversation you need to resort to silly partisan talking points. Why?

Not necessary. All the evidence I need is sitting in the WH, sniffing children's hair, and slurping melted chocolate chip ice cream.

To this you wrote "It's called a logical conclusion."

Since you've invoked logic, could you please write this out as a syllogism, that is both sound and valid.

Cheers

This was the actual quote I wanted you to present in formal logic ( we now know you can't because you don't know what logic is) but since you didn't I just pointed out where another argument you had made was fallacious.

So do you want to try for real this time, since you know what a syllogism is now?

A few posts back, @Deluge posted a Career section for Trump. That's about all the "syllogism" required. Frankly...I don't think you understand logic as well as you think you do.

I asked him to support the claim being rich meant being a successful business man, nothing to do with Trump specifically

First, it's funny that "career section" didn't mention the businesses he's had that weren't successful, ie casinos, water, steaks, Trump university etc.. but none of that logically follows that he's a bad business man either

Second, all it says is he claimed Obama wasn't really American, he owns property, was on a scripted T.V. show and dislikes Rosie O'Donnell , which is inductive at best

Third, I never claimed to understand logic, in fact I mentioned I was new to it, but if you think that his post even resembled an argument presented in formal logic, you know less than me.

See, the reason for these videos is to help illustrate that the only way an old piece of shit like Joe Biden can get into the WH is by cheating.

The evidence is overwhelming:

The REAL explanation is Trump's TOTAL INCOMPETENCE. Duh

Of course, FOS LIES never told you about that. You loving the pu$$y grabber ONLY appealed to you MAGA CULT types.

You have no logic; just a deep disdain for Donald Trump. Here in the US we call that Trump Derangement Syndrome. Would you like to talk about it? Sometimes airing out your hatred can be therapeutic.

Certainly VOTING BIDEN BACK IN will be very therapeutic.
