Gaétan Posted March 13, 2024 Report Posted March 13, 2024 I found the solution to the budget and the deficit, don't worry. We must abolish currency, you work for free and you benefit from goods and services for free. Currency was established by cruel kings and dictators to make people slaves, they printed money, used it to pay for luxuries and told the population to eat among yourselves. Volunteering is rewarding and secretes hormones in the brain that bring happiness, it is proven by numerous studies that volunteering makes you happy and healthy. We only have to abolish the currency in Canada and with the goods from our exports paid in Canadian dollars, euros or American dollars we can buy what we do not manufacture and repay our debts. Money deprives us of everything, modern metros, roads, hydrogen cars, building power plants, developing at the cutting edge of technology and increasing our productivity, investing in our schools and universities, in health, fighting against pollution. Money is the source that fuels crime and corruption, deprives us of having children, prevents us from raising them properly without them lacking anything. Abolishing money is the solution to all our problems and that of the survival of humanity, the best solutions to problems are always the simplest. Quote

The rest of the speech, is like being approached by a crackhead reaching into the back of his track pants, to itch his anus, directly, then approaching you for change. No matter what they say, and how well, the image you just saw is how you will judge this person for the rest of the exchange. Politics is about knowing the pulse of your country. What people are crying for. "I want to be paid nothing. F*** this paying my rent noise" is so far down the barrel of what people want, you would be considered as someone with less of a grasp of things than a woman with no arms. Quote

I'm afraid the solution to money will beb complicated because it will need to be very technological: where everyone gets a Star Trek replicator. Sans the ability to replicate weapons of any kind of course. Quote I said now watch what you say they'll be calling you a radical, a liberal, oh fanatical criminal

Sans the ability to replicate weapons of any kind of course. Some kind of digital currency replacement would do it. Do we have the resources to provide everyone with the basics? We probably do. Can we organize a political sphere where that could be managed ? Eventually maybe? Can we get there without totalitarianism, through allowing open communication and a liberal politics? Well that hasn't been done. Is it at all conceivable? Well not even. People like you posting as you did, trying to imagine the end state.... That's as close as it gets right now. The best futurists, I've heard always talk about the primacy of keeping the current system in place during a slow transition. So I guess we're on the way right? I'm a conservative so I believe in the institutions we have, however, the best institutions also look to reform each other. Runaway capitalism, huge monopolies in tech, politics for sale through lobbying and influencing, and especially the decline of the public sphere should be the first thing we pay attention to to fix the system we have. Once our system, the one we've had and has worked in the past, is fixed. We can go to your Star wars future. 😜 Quote Looks like someone has a new patronizing catch phrase ! Michael Hardner
