I never really guessed, I just wasn't in the first age bracket to get the jab.

By the time my age bracket was ok'd to start getting the jabs, the data was already in from Israeli ICUs. 

I had a healthy dose of skepticism, based on who was pimping the jab and how badly they freaked out whenever other possibilities were talked about, and I also had the luxury of not being in the at-risk demographic, so I wasn't in severe need of insurance. 

I honestly am happy for people to choose whatever they want, my only criticisms of the jab come from a point of "It was never necessary for young folks, and it was never proven to be effective enough at fighting covid to be forced on people who didn't want it."

Even if the vax worked really well for the people who really needed it, I still don't think that young people should have been forced. Pregnant women, young women who still want to have kids, etc., should have had the right to choose. 

This whole sad covid saga was a gigantic shit-show that irreparably damaged the standing of our medical community, our faith in vaccines, our faith in our gov't and completely destroyed whatever credibility our mainstream media even had in 2020.

Chuds were long past this point before COVID ever appeared. If it was designed in a lab they probably had you people in mind and the certainty that stupidity and ignorance would be the most effective vectors for spreading SARS-CoV-2.

If so, that was exactly the wrong approach to take with someone who has likely had more (actually way more) vaccines than most non-military people reading this post will ever have.

For me, It set off  a flashing MASTER WARNING light that wouldn't reset, it said look harder, look deeper, ask more questions, do more research... it screamed "you're on your own here."

In short, it was over the top levels of mindless rhetoric / hateful ridicule, and bogus fact checks usually prefixed with "there is no evidence to suggest" that tipped my personal scales.

And most of it (actually the worst of it) came from people unable to even discuss the issue at the most basic of high school biology levels.

CHUD is a pejorative used by many on the left here to basically dehumanize 'right wing' people they disagree with. Basically its just a way for them to call people subhuman.

One thing about the left is that the first thing they do with anyone they disagree with is attempt to dehumanize them or reduce their validity as people. This is so they can dismiss any argument they don't like instantly.  "We don't have to respond to that guy's points even if they're valid - he's a chud so we just dismiss him".

It's basically taking Ad Hominem attacks to the next level. IF they don't want to admit you've got a point then they can just dismiss you as a chud and chuds aren't allowed to have points

Probably 97% of Canadians had nearly 100% faith in 'vaccines', as we knew them, and no great reason to doubt the integrity of our medical community.
