eyeball Posted January 24, 2024 Report Posted January 24, 2024 Why does this happen? Even after deleting a combined post and trying again it happens. My apologies if this has already been asked. Quote A government without public oversight is like a nuclear plant without lead shielding.

I can see the utility of combing posts on occasion but not having any control over it other than my patience will probably only make me more impatient. Any idea what that timeframe is? herbie Posted January 24, 2024 Report Posted January 24, 2024 It is overly difficult to accomplish. A glitch this forum software has never addressed. IE addressing quotes within quotes to the wrong poster. Kind of like how MSoft updates Windows with heaps of new features and fails to address simple but annoying problems with it since Windows 3. herbie Posted January 25, 2024 Report Posted January 25, 2024 Try cutting and pasting things into a word doc, editing that and then copy/paste that into your reply. Like you have to do on FB to format anything. Quote
Forum Admin Greg Posted January 25, 2024 Forum Admin Report Posted January 25, 2024 @herbie Whenever you're using a WYSIWYG editor, you're gonna get wonkiness from time to time. The best feature in the editor to use is the Remove Format button - which will remove any HTML/CSS styling and force the text back to basic plain text. Post merging is set to 2 minutes.
