There are some others that put Florida close to the top, over most blue states. One single chart? Any idi0t can make a chart. I prefer consulting more than one diverse source. this is not raw data.. these are subjective articles. SpankyMcFarland Posted July 17, 2025 Report Posted July 17, 2025 Time was when red state cities were easy to build in. That seems to be changing as new NIMBYs flex their muscles. Quote Over the past decade, the median home price has increased by 134 percent in Phoenix, 133 percent in Miami, 129 percent in Atlanta, and 99 percent in Dallas. (Over that same stretch, prices in New York, San Francisco, and Los Angeles have increased by about 75 percent, 76 percent, and 97 percent, respectively). Quote the real answer is that San Francisco and New York weren’t unique—they were just early. Eventually, no matter where you are, the forces of NIMBYism catch up to you. Quote “A lot of times, the last person to move in wants to close the door and throw away the key,” Webb said. “I think that’s what’s happening all over Texas right now.” Texas isn’t an outlier. Similar anecdotes abound in cities such as Orlando, Las Vegas, Phoenix, Albuquerque, and Atlanta. This trend has turned some of the most developer-friendly cities into absolute nightmares for home builders. https://www.theatlantic.com/economy/archive/2025/06/zoning-sun-belt-housing-shortage/683352/ Anyway, who would want to live in the Sun Belt now? Shady Posted August 5, 2025 Report Posted August 5, 2025 California, New York and Illinois are set to lose seats in the house of representatives. Florida, Texas and Utah are set to gain seats. Terrible blue state policies are now having electoral ramifications for Democrats. I think that's why blue states are in favor of illegal immigration. It helps keep their population levels growing even though they're experiencing a net decline due to migration out of their states. Quote

Ironically, illegal immigration drastically increased the population of Texas and the left fought really hard to make sure illegal aliens were included in the census. Quote Don't you think that if I were wrong that I would know it?
Nationalist Posted August 26, 2025 Report Posted August 26, 2025 Comical. The Libbies have tried every excuse available but...they can't escape the fact that Democrat lead states are hemorrhaging American citizens. Dumb Diddy Dumb Diddy Dumb Dumb Dumb. They’re not all Republicans by any means. In addition, red state cities seem to have a growing problem with rising house prices and the dreaded nimbys. 1 Quote ‘How small we make our worlds.
