Biden sold off over 40% of the US oil reserves and the US wasn't at war with anyone. He just lied about inflation for so long that he had to do something about the cost of oil. He was so dumb that he thought it would help. He even said so.

Not even Afghanistan anymore - he had already stranded Americans there and ran away.

Trump and Obama were at war with Afghanistan and islamic state, and they never drained the reserves.

Well since Congress in 2015 MANDATED such sales to drive down the price of oil which was creating a bad economy, and the Republicans highest donors are oil barons who used to ( prior to March 2021) be draining the Strategic Reserve for their.own.profit which drove UP the prices of oil ...and were stopped by Biden in  2021, I'd say it's not Biden's fault no matter what year it is.

When Biden originally got elected he was able to speak coherently for 20 minutes at a time at the peak of the day.

When he was held to a light schedule with short public appearances his bouts of incoherent mumbling were usually short and there were at 1/week.  

Now he's down to 10 minutes or less at a time and every press conference breaks down to a long, sad 'lost in the haze' segment. 

He's almost done as a puppet.

That has always been a problem in the us.

At the time of Trump's first victory i remember watching reporters in the lead up to election day talking to a lot of people who were going to vote for trump (but weren't "core" supporters) and  a lot said they were voting for him for no other reason than they essentially were tired of getting the same sorts of choices from the two parties and wanted to upset the apple cart a little because they felt they were so limited in there election choices.

Mischief managed i guess but the problem remains. In Canada it's entirely possible to start a brand new party and take it to power within 12 years or so - In the us you're going to get the republican candidate or the dem candidate and both will be a product of their respective party apperatus.  That does present problems of choice.

This is to be expected.

They did not like trump to begin with, and the wail of anguish when he won will probably be the first signal that interstellar aliens will detect from earth, it was that loud.

Then they spent forever trying to frame him for russian collusion etc and attack him and it really didn't work the way they wanted it to.  So when he lost the next election they felt like they'd gotten even a little.

If he wins now - a) they will feel like he won in the end (like the start wars trilogy - a new trump, the democrats strike back and finally return of the MAGA.)

PLUS - they are DEEPLY afraid of what a completely vengeful trump will do. This will be far worse than the first time, now he can't get re elected anyway and has had to live through their attacks. And he knows how the system works a bit better.

I'm kinda concerned that he still has his flashes of dementia rage. 

Not because I think that anyone in the Pentagon takes him seriously - they're not gonna let him launch any kind of an attack on more than a peanut butter sandwich - but he could still say something angry and stupid enough to get America into a lot more trouble. 

I feel like the word is walking on eggshells until the next Republican president is inaugurated.
