All of those guys are allowed to invest heavily in whatever weapons contractors they want, and they are the ones who vote on whose weapons to send over to Ukraine.  

If they're sending $2B worth of Raytheon gear over there they're allowed to invest in Raytheon.

They can't do it a day or two before the vote, but in lot of instances they know what they're going to be sending over for months before it comes to a vote.

Eg, the Javelins that Trump sent to Ukraine were requested way back when Obama was in office.  

They are also the beneficiaries of a lot of lobbying.

I'm not singling out Pelosi, or saying that all of the Pelosi family's (and other GOP families) unscrupulous loot all came from insider knowledge of weapons shipments, they can buy Real Estate in areas where they know infrastructure upgrades are coming, they can invest in companies like Pfizer and Moderna before drugs like Viagra and the pseudovax come out, it's endless.

If you're a congressman and you have "bad luck" on stock market trades then you're not doing it 'right'.

There is NOTHING UNIQUE about ^this wrt Ukraine. Except IF Putin did the investing through SHELL corporations before the invasion.
