Because Republicans believe even the late 16th century was too "woke" a time.

Maybe HAVING SLAVES was how left wingers used to think WOKE was back in the 16th Century. After all, Republicans ENDED slavery in the Civil War. Your goose stepping side of the aisle believes that ridiculous 1619 Project LIE about America being founded in order to preserve slavery.

(Yes, Virginia, there ARE people THAT FUGGING STUPID.)

Republicans in Florida basically decided to give PARENTS control over whether or not a teacher could commit pedophelia or grooming, whether or not the system has a right to turn a child into a queer.

Oh, and there is no such law as DON'T SAY GAY.

In the legislature Governor DeSantis signed, THE WORD GAY DOESN'T APPEAR.

Maybe, GAY was tagged to be the queer word because it stands for Got Aids Yet?

Ignorant leadership leads to ignorant people. Educators are leaving Floriduh in droves to free states in the northeast. Free to educate, and get paid a real salary..

As usual, YOU ARE A LIAR.

First, teacher pay is determined at the COUNTY LEVEL, you idi0t. Some counties pay more. Some counties cost more to live. There are some counties where teachers are leaving the profession because their salaries cannot cover the high cost of housing, (THANKS TO A BUNCH OF BLUE STATERS WHO HAVE BEEN TAXED OUT OF THEIR IGNORANT BLUE STATES AND HAVE COME DOWN HERE DRIVING UP HOUSING PRICES.) A lot of brilliant teachers in Florida have NOT left the profession, which is why Florida schools graduate educated students and blue states socially promote IDI0TS LIKE YOU.

FLorida teachers are NOT moving up to blue states. Only an IDI0T would move to a place where it costs more to live, where TAXES ARE HIGH and where part of a teacher's salary is taken in union dues. Teachers in blue states are living in poverty.
