This is classic tabloid crap from a classic tabloid. They're "reporting" on "accusations" from some random jackass on Twitter.  They even quote the code in question, but can't be bothered to point out that the flag display OBVIOUSLY DOES NOT violate the code. What garbage.

Nope - just making sure what you're referring to specifically. I thought you MIGHT be referring to just the line mentioned, rather than the code cited which includes many sections. But you cleared it up - you were referring to the code, not the section.

Because it does actually violate that code.

So the section they quoted is wrong - but as you can clearly see there is indeed a flag to the right of the American flag at the same level.

No, to the contrary, I very much assume that when you're asking something that seems obvious it's because you are a know-nothing and even terribly obvious things are beyond you. Hence why I have to explain things like 48 < 52.

But you want to complain about an entirely different part of the flag code? Okay internet lawyer from another country, 2 guesses what adorns the top, center of that building.?‍♀️ Nor are the lower flags arranged linearly. They are a fractional circular pattern in which the US flags would appear on the left AND right.

And in any case, the Pride flag is not of any legal entity, people or society.

I guess I have to commend you for at least trying to speak to facts for once, even if it didn't quite work out.

Doesnt' matter. The code is clear - when displayed in a line....  the flags are displayed in a line.  The fact that there's another display somewhere else means nothing - can you show me in the code where it says "Unless there's another display near by"?

Actually it does violate the code. Center is the most prominent position in that display and the homosexual flag is at the center - that means your shitty excuse for a president values homosexuality over the United States, and that is unacceptable. His ass should be impeached based on that alone.

Well according to the code it could be in the center as long as the US flag is on the right (assuming they're at the same height).  For flags the right is the dominant spot. So it could have been gay flag - gay flag- US flag  and still been to code.

But obviously they didn't care about the code and figured most people wouldn't and wanted the pride flag to be prominent.

Well, there are three flags, not two, so center is the most prominent spot. 

There really shouldn't be any homo pride flags, as it doesn't represent a country or state or anything legitimate.

By common sense yes, but not by the code. The code says there can be any number of flags as long as ALL of them are to the right of the US flag.

Obviously they wanted to make the pride flag prominent and didn't worry too much about the code.  But - from the code's point of view it ALSO wouldn't have been ok to have the american flag in the middle and a pride on each side - they all have to be to the right.

This reminds me of folks getting all worked up about a cross up on a hill east of Boise. I am 100% non-religious but yet if I do not like it... then do not look at it. Them displaying a pride flag is pretty tame stuff but leave it to the chronically bored to find outrage in anything.
