I'm sure other teams have droughts, but just to lose how Toronto has in the past, to me made them due for a break sooner or later. They definitely have a solid team to make a run and more importantly, clutch goaltending in Samsonov which save for save, was able to rival the best (arguably) in the league at the other end. Whether you love or hate the Leafs, I think that Canada has been cup starved since 1993. If you can hate on any Canadian team pushing deep in the playoffs, something is wrong with you. My great love is rugby and I made a deal with him that if he watched the world cup final with me (England v South Africa) I'd watch hockey with him.
