The report noted, "Partly to wrap up his policy portfolios, partly to tout his accomplishments, and partly to occupy himself following the death of his son a year earlier, Biden thrust himself into work in a final sprint to mark what then appeared to be the end of a four-decade run at the highest levels of government." With Biden’s office being occupied until the last minute, the piece stated, "Aides scrambled to pack up his workspaces in the West Wing, the Eisenhower Executive Office Building and at his official residence, the Naval Observatory." CNN spoke to some unnamed sources familiar with the last days, one of which admitted, "It was just a really, really weird time for everyone." The report further described the transition as such: "The looming arrival of Trump to the White House left many of Obama and Biden’s aides wary of the future and eager to cement many of their accomplishments." Sources said it was "an uneasy moment." It declared, "Those competing objectives – to use his office until the final minutes even as it was obliged to shut down – made for a muddled and hurried process that left aides packing boxes of documents and papers late into the night, even as more material kept arriving." And just to bring you up to speed on Unelected Joe's exposure to legal issues: https://www.law.cornell.edu/uscode/text/18/1924 (a) Whoever, being an officer, employee, contractor, or consultant of the United States, and, by virtue of his office, employment, position, or contract, becomes possessed of documents or materials containing classified information of the United States, knowingly removes such documents or materials without authority and with the intent to retain such documents or materials at an unauthorized location shall be fined under this title or imprisoned for not more than five years, or both. And if he broke the law, very good, let the process be the same. Trump and Biden. Anyhow, the Real American, he is not a fake one which supports insurrectionists, his name is Robert K. Hur, he served under Trump by the way, but he is a professional indeed: "The process be the same" means Biden cannot be charged until he is out of office. Quote

Your party has issues finding a strong centrist candidate so they run a 81 year old man that keeps CLASSIFIED documents in a locked garage beside a Corvette. The star of your party is AOC in terms of Marketing. She is unelectable. Pelosi might have kept the progressive wing not to become mainstream as Trumpism became on the Republican side but she never promoted any younger centrist Democrats to step forward. This whole situation made the presidential elections even more unpredictable. Biden with this scandal, Kamala Harris is not doing anything, this administration seems weakened. ^STILL NO EVIDENCE that Biden knew there were classified documents in those boxes (since he obviously didn't pack them). This is not really a scandal, because of ^this FACT and the probability that NO INTENT will be provable. Do you know ANYTHING about US LAW? Like why it's taken so long to charge Trump even after his INTENT has become OBVIOUS. Quote

This a legal issue and being indicted carries far more weight than RUMORS. 1 hour ago, Contrarian said: I am talking strictly from a marketing, visual effect (FOR THE NEXT ELECTION), this has gotten to the every day folk in front of their TV. Sure it has. But only those who listen to Fox blowhards lying don't know the details. 1 hour ago, Contrarian said: Don't tell me people aren't starting to ask themselves questions about the reliability of keeping an 81 year old man in the office that keeps CLASSIFIED documents beside his Corvette and when asked by a report he says: "But it was locked!" I'll give you a pass for misquoting Biden cause you were CLOSE. The CONTRAST was with Trump's documents which weren't even locked and many people had access to them. Did you pick up on that? 1 hour ago, Contrarian said: Try to think politically, not just like a soldier defending your side only. He lost more than a few % with this scandal in my opinion. IMO, the ONLY people he "lost" were Fox "News" viewers who likely would not vote for him anyway. They are the ones who hear only half of the story like you. 1 hour ago, Contrarian said: ---> I hope the republicans don't try something dumb to try to impeach a President during wartime. Was I close? ? Nope, I voted for Warren and then Joe cause I am a PRAGMATIST and Liz established the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, which has helped me deal with big Banks' fraud. 32 minutes ago, Contrarian said: So of course in your bubble, you think this is not a big deal, but highly doubt the overall perception is like that for the average voter. It all depends on where they get their news. The more sources, the better. Fox will never tell them the details about the differences between Trump's and Joe's handling of classified documents because they are "all the lies, all the time" propaganda source, NOT NEWS. 32 minutes ago, Contrarian said: Be positive, your Governor has a chance to be the next President now. No way, UNLESS a credible witness comes forward to that effect. OTOH: Did Trump KNOW that the three palettes of documents were being removed? YES. Some were right in his desk drawer. He KNEW he had the documents. Did Trump INTEND TO KEEP the documents? YES. Clearly, because the Archives asked him to return them many times, got a court order seeking their return, we’re lied to, and then he even sued to keep the classified documents which weren’t his. That is INTENT. Edited January 13, 2023 by Rebound 1 Quote @reason10: “Hitler had very little to do with the Holocaust.”
