And yes, the goal of separating people into different identity tribes and pitting them against one another is well underway, and is certain to increase the amount of dislike between the groups. No he wouldn't have. You know how I know that? Because he never did in his first term. And the 'objective reality' is that he did nothing whatsoever throughout his term, right up until the end of the election campaign when someone persuaded him to issue an order for the federal government because it would appeal to his base. Note that this order has zero affect on state and local governments or their various agencies, including universities and school boards. Which is what we were discussing. You're saying he can't do anything about the states. That is how their law works, no president can easily accomplish it. I'm saying if Oregonians keep electing these liberal extremists, they get what they vote for. Mr. Trump sent out a strong signal. He increased people's awareness of this issue, that it is a problem for the country as a whole. People might learn about it and vote against it. The alternative side never even approaches the issue. They are the ones who support it, in fact. Now that Biden is in, this will quietly be reinstated and dropped from media dialogue, entirely. Quote

Yes, in the 11th hour of his presidency, in hopes of energizing his base for the upcoming election. It's not like he actually cared enough about it, or knew enough about it, to do anything earlier. Quote The alternative side never even approaches the issue. I am not a fan of the other side. If they disintegrate in a great orgy of identity politics and pave the way for a sane Republican administration I'll be fine with that. The current administration is not sane, and is thoroughly corrupt. cannuck Posted December 18, 2020 Report Posted December 18, 2020 This whole business of how the media editorializes the news to run the looney left agenda makes me sick to my stomach. The BLM riots, burnings and killings are a direct result of this very co-ordinated policy. Similarly Antifa *(you know, the one that is not really an organization but seems to have the ability and resources to organize endless riots and looting) seeming to just slow the hell down when it started to damage Democratic polling is yet another irrefutable example of just how thoroughly this is being managed.
