This is not politics, this is a reality show, and a bad one at that.

Yeah it seems like for a certain number of people it doesn't really matter what Trump does or doesn't do, or how stupid he acts, or how much he lies or how lazy he is or how corrupt, and incompetent and childish, or how he brags about things he had nothing to do with or how he does the exact opposite of what he promises. All that matters is that the lefties are pissed off.

There is a new hastag in social media #Cult45. It means the conservatives in the United States have left their conservative principles, and a blindly following Trump like a cult member. Very few good republicans left in the United States. John Kasich is one of them.

You would be surprized how many conservatives are warming up to Bernie Sanders, because he's also anti-establishment.

If he gets elected, I highly doubt he will cancle student debt, or provide free universities... He won't get congressional approval...but he might be excellent at stoping corruption, and ending loopholes.

Personally I think Bernies biggest strengh will be in foreign policy. He will get the rest of the world to respect the united states again, and help end the wars in the middle east.

Even thought I'm a conservative i'd vote for Bernie Sanders over Trump. I just don't think he's be able to bankrupt the country any faster than what Trump is doing. Who knows, if Bernie increases taxes, he might actually reduce the deficit.

Even Trump said himself, he has respect for Bernie Sanders.

John Kasich - LOSER (2016)

Donald Trump - WINNER (2016)

Trump would love to run against Sanders, which is why the Democrats are scared to death...because:

Donald Trump - WINNER (2020)

I think Bernie is going to become the next president. Just going to make that prediction now. He shows enthusiam like no one else does, and voters connect with enthusiam. Voters don't like the low energy types, which seem to be the rest of the democratic party... They want someone who's fierce with passion.

Donald Trump is already the U.S. president...Bernie is not.  Remember ?

Trump's rallies are better attended than Bernie's.

This is a core base... but the Majority of American's hate Trump.

The rally's are basically cherry picked republicans, put behind him on stage... to try and make him look good.

How are you going to stop all the 18 to 30 years... turning up in record to vote. How are you going to stop all the hispanic people trump has alienated?

Trump will have his core supporters, but Bernie Will have the entire resistance.

Liberals hate Trump, far more than Conservatives hate Bernie... Many conservatives have a soft spot for Bernie, but just don't agree with him on spending.

Joe Walsh has said the same thing. About how ignorant and fanatical Trump's supporters in the Republican party are. They know nothing about anything other than Trump is their god.

I was already sensing this, but I was slapped hard in the face this past week at the Iowa caucuses: Last Thursday, the president came to Des Moines for one of his narcissistic rallies. I was in Des Moines, too, so I tried to talk to some folks outside the event before they went in — makes sense, right? Here’s a captive audience of Republican voters. But it turned out to be one of the most frustrating (and frankly, sad) experiences I can recall. I asked dozens of people a very simple, straightforward question: “Has President Trump ever told a lie to the American people?” And every single person said, “No.” Never mind that thousands of his misstatements have been meticulously documented. No, they said, he’s never lied.

I brought up his years-old claims that, unlike President Barack Obama, if Trump ever became president, he’d be too busy to play golf. Most people responded by saying they don’t care whether Trump golfs. But three people said that Trump has never golfed since he’s been president. No one said that they thought he did anything wrong with Ukraine. No one knew that our annual deficits just blew past $1 trillion. Everyone believed hundreds of miles of new wall had been built. (Fact check: False!) When I asked whether they thought Mexico was paying for the wall, most people said yes but were at a loss to explain how. On and on it went: CNN was the enemy and Rep. Adam B. Schiff (Calif.), along with the rest of the congressional Democrats, were lying traitors.

...

I reminded folks that I’m a conservative, but I said conservative policies aren’t good enough. Decency, honesty and compassion matter, too. But they wanted nothing to do with it. There was more booing, more yelling, and I caught a middle finger or two. I’m a big boy, and I can take a tough crowd, but leaving the caucus that night, I realized once and for all that nobody can beat Trump in a Republican primary. Not just because it’s become his party, but because it has become a cult, and he’s a cult leader. He doesn’t have supporters; he has followers. And in their eyes, he can do no wrong.

Let me tell you... I don't like Biden one bit.... I'll go along with Michael Bloomberg. I don't care if he banned large Soda's in New York City, to try and fight diabetes.

Just look at the Iowa results, their less interest in Biden, then they were with Hillary.

Just look at Trumps lattest Twitter. He re-posts this video of himself... The day after gets acquitted.

You think a normal, sane person wouldn't want to rock the boat.

Trump is not only great for driving American lefties nuts...he is even better at driving some Canadians nuts.

Many Canadians will pay more attention to this foreign (American) election cycle than their own...amazing !!

Iowa does not reflect America. Much of the democratic party is non-white for one thing, and mostly urban.

I'd really like to understand, though, how a state that doesn't believe in evolution votes for a gay guy as their candidate....

I'll take almost any Democratic canadate over Biden. There was a video online of Biden bragging about how he doesn't have to be jewish to be a zionist... and how he's said if he were Jewish, he would be a Zionist, because Zionism is the best thing on earth.

America doesn't need an Isreali puppet.

There is a video of Biden kissing a 13 year old girls neck, caressing her shoulder, and whispering sweet nothings into her ear.

There is another video of Biden at the council on foreign relations... which is a globalist think-tank, braging about how he threatened to without a billion dollars, unless they fired the prosecuter, that would looking into the Gas company, that his son worked for.

The Democrats know Biden is corrupt, so many of them won't bother going to the polls. Biden doesn't have a chance against Trump.

Frankly, I don't get it.

Canada has an incompetent, unethical blackface boob for a prime minister, but I don't hate the guy.  Hell, Trudeau and his Liberals were returned to power....Canada's choice, not mine.

But somehow, some way, many Canadians feel they are fully invested in what happens with elections and candidates in a foreign country.

Why does Trump invoke so much hateful energy in Canada ?   He is not Canadian.

100% not true, Trump has far more appeal with the center than Bernie does, it's not just spending. You are projecting your views on other conservatives, you're the outlier, not the norm. The amount of conservatives willing to vote for Bernie can be counted on one hand, Trump has already proven his ability to win over former Obama voters in the rust belt. Bernie is the candidate who is more base oriented, Trump has actual appeal to those outside his base unlike Bernie, and Trump has the bigger base too.

Your TDS is getting in the way of accurate analysis. Trump has more appeal to the center than your boy Kasich or Romney ever did.

Trump Derangement Syndrome. Your hatred of Trump blinds you to reality and causes you constantly underestimate him while overestimating his opponents.

So basically you're saying my disapproval of Trump is Deranged? Put it this way, America is so far gone... Trump could start putting Muslims in a internment camps, and most of supporters would be thrilled.
