In some heated exchanges between two people some times things get said that probably should not have been said. It probably was not a good idea at the time for this guy to say something out loud and in the open that appeared to be racist as today cellphones are everywhere. There was no real need for you to create this thread. I know you like a book now and I know as to where you are always coming from. You do always appear to enjoy bashing white people just like the CBC always enjoys doing. Geez, do you work for the CBC? Just curious. I never see you bashing any non-white people though and we both know that you would never call a non-white person a POS, right. I know that you would never call those Muslim terrorists that shoot and kill innocent Canadians with a van POS. Why did you not call them a POS? Frightened that you may be called a racist, uhmm? I'm always wary of the news clips and stories that supposedly "illustrate" growing intolerance in this country. I suspect that those who promote this approach are hoping to see a greater degree of conflict than actually exists in real life. And I always wonder about the other side in many of these instances. Undoubtedly, some people do make racist comments or otherwise appear to be intolerant. Human beings are human beings. Where one is mistreated or disrespected, the temptation is very often to react in a similar fashion. Were the incidents the media is now fond of covering (hey, almost everybody has a cellphone camera) illustrative of an epidemic, however, I suspect our news broadcasts would have no time to cover anything else. The incidents that concern me more are ones, like coverage of the fake hijab attack in Toronto earlier this year, that foment a false impression of widespread and virulent intolerance, which is truly propagandizing.

If someone is having an argument with some other person and they use a racial slur, well so what?  Chalk it up as ignorance or stupidity on their part. But to go overboard like they are doing today and going after people and charging them with a hate crime who say nasty things to other people is not the way things should be done especially when both people are heavily involved in a dispute over something. Sometimes words get thrown around that in other times they would not. If I end up in an argument with a fat person and I ended up calling him a big fat pig should I now be arrested and charged for calling the guy a big fat pig?  It's getting beyond ridiculous. Human beings are just human beings and we all at sometime in our lives have said something derogatory to someone else. As the old saying goes "sticks and stones may break my bones but names will never hurt me". They might feel that they have been offended but for pete sakes put your big/girl pants on and get over it. The courts are plugged enough with plenty of useless charges where there should have never been any charges at all. My opinion.

The internet is a great place for getting lots of good information from. It's not all bad as you like to point out that it is. 

Wikipedia is just another left wing liberal website and not everything written on there is reliable or to be believed. It looks good but at times it likes to spread a little bit of horse manure here and there. Wikipedia is not 100% a pure and clean source. 

So, should I be arrested and charged for calling some guy or gal a big fat pig?  Yes or non?  C'mon, an easy question for you to answer?
