See i'm a real liberal still. Have you not heard me talk about the environment on here? and bring up pragmatic progressive ideas. Wanna know one of my ideas, I would mainly cut taxes to corporations and business that provide jobs to the young, or people who have been unemployed for a while.

I would have the private sector steep up with education and training, so we don't have to really on institutions to do all the heavy lifting. I would make the private sector take on more responsibility for communities, so taxpayers can spend less money on welfare.

I would also eliminate the minimum wage for the first 45 days, so companies are willing to hire someone off the streets, instead of getting too picky over resumes.

I would redesign the social safety net, so the people who fall through the cracks can get their feet back in the door once again. 

You don't throw money at problems, you redesign the system.

I think society has to be structured the way we have wingmans. No one gets left behind. We all help one another, but we aren't entitled to someone else's property.

I would force society to take better care of the vulnerable, but not redistribute the wealth to those who don't work.

Maybe you should not be posting any pictures of any of Doug Fords kids and what they look like. If you are a conservative why give them any ammunition that they could use to attack Ford and Conservatives. Let the liberal/NDP do that for themselves. If the late night talk show host like Colbert were to get his hands on a picture like that he would no doubt use it to make fun of Ford's daughter. This is why in some instances conservatives tend to like to shoot themselves in their own foot and help the liberals along in their hatred for conservatives. Just saying.

I was thinking the exact same thing. I was just getting sick and tired of being called one sided. I slipped up. I guess they don't play fair, so why should we.

Because they think their is an unlimited money supply. The forget to realize that Canada only has a few billionaires in a Trillion dollar economy. Money doesn't grow on trees.

You think he had exclusive access to the picture? Again, the media doesn't go after kids. That's considered too low by everybody but Robert's standards.I

If I had a kid, I would have him hang around some millionaires. Get them to teach some insider information. Maybe have my kid hang around a day trader. I would probably want my kid to become an author, so he can go anywhere in the world, and not have to work 9 to 5, and make money.

I would have my kid hang around the business elite, and read more books than his teacher.

Hey, I am a conservative true and true. All this talk about the environment is all just bull chit to me. There is no global warming to worry about. Mother nature has done more to damage the environment than all the time that man and woman has been on earth. We are a small drop in the bucket when it comes to damaging the environment. I would like to cut the GST. The GST was implemented just so the government could get it's greedy grubby hands on more money from we the people and blow that GST money on more stupid liberal/and socialist programs and agendas. I know that it was Mulroney who brought in the GST but that is because bulroney was no conservative but he was more of a liberal in conservative clothing. A real conservative should want to tax less, not more. 

How a system should be designed is to put in a system where everyone has a right to freedom and freedom of speech. There would be less government and less taxes. That would be a great start and go from there. Trump has done just that. He abolished thousands of rules and regulations that stiffled growth and made it harder for anyone to want to start up a business. Trump cut taxes and cut government and eliminated some laws that got in the way of free speech. The recent Supreme Court decision in America to allow a baker to deny baking a cake for two gay guys was a step in the right direction and no doubt had something to do with Trump being the president. 

I would not allow any level of government to be involved in any business adventure That would be left up to the private sector because they would know how to properly run a business with less money and would certainly not start up a business if they know that it will fail. But if someone does start up and fail well so be it. Life is a gamble. 

A fair wags is what is needed. not a minimum wage. That scares of businesses from wanting to expand of hire.  

We pretty much have a social safety net here in Canada. We have many government services to take care of that for our people but the sad part is that all those people from the third world know about it also and they all want to immigrate to Canada to take advantage of all the freebies the Canadian taxpayer's(suckers)have to offer. 

You first have to get rid of big government if you want to redesign the system because we all should know by now that it is the government that is the problem and never the solution.  If the government really cared about we the people and their tax dollars they would implement citizen initiated referendums and the right to recall like they have in Switzerland and that many American states have also. 

Hey, I believe that I have the answer to how to go about making Canada great again. What say you?

That's not what I said. I said a parent is not necessarily to blame when they go wrong, just as they are not necessarily the ones to get all the credit when they go right. This is something you learn early on in the process.

Exactly. Treat the liberals like chit just like they do with conservatives. They do not play fair at all and they have become the most intolerant and bigoted people on earth today. The liberals know by now that this is one conservative that will take no crap from them and I do not back down from them either. If they want to attack and mock conservatism well get ready for a conservative reply. Conservatives must stop taking the insults and abuses from liberals who, like you said, "I guess they don't play fair" and so why should conservatives play fair with them. It is called tit for tat. The liberals will go after kids if it will work in their favor to do so. The liberal media is well known for how far low they will go to make their opponents that they do not like look like fools and even if it comes to their kids they will go for it. Do you know the difference between news and comedy shows? The news media doesn't go after politicians' kids. Comedy shows will do what comedy shows do. Regardless, Ivanka is not a "daughter"; she's a senior advisor in the administration. The nepotism killed her chance at being a private citizen, so she doesn't count anyway. 

Your inability to come up with an example of legitimate news media doing what you say they do is duly noted.
