The alarms around here are for incoming tsunamis. If someone thinks to use them for a nuke everyone will probably run to high ground and get even  closer to an airburst.

Where are you exactly that you get tsunami warnings?

I think that way too....I think of Mad Max world - do I really want to survive and live through that? I don't think so.

...however, we won't know how we're going to react if ever we know a missile is coming.  The instinct to survive might kick in.

Don't worry. Jesus will save you.

Vancouver Island

Vancouver Island is the mainland's protection from Tsunamis. Unless the centre of the earth quake is in between the island and mainland.

Your soul maybe.  But he won't be able to do much about the missile.  But three days later, he'll mysteriously move the slab of concrete and come out of his fallout shelter.

Campbell River is touted as the epicentre of the next big one.  Which is a shame, as I was considering retiring there.

Perhaps the big one will happen before you retire and you can time it to snag some cheap property and move in when infrastructure and services are restored.

Under worst case scenarios I will have beachfront property one day.
