Smallc
I notice when I'm using Chrome, with the lightswitch off, the text just keeps going in one line. I have to scroll over to see it. I didn't have this problem before.

I have to scroll over to see it. I didn't have this problem before. Definitely not seeing this one. Is the 'light switch' the icon to the left of the eraser in the top left corner of the toolbar ? I click it and the same two lines are quoted as when I click off.
Smallc
Yes, that's right. I may have to reset chrome.
bcsapper
I've seen that before in IE. Not for a while though. I realise this comment doesn't help, I just wanted to be a part of it all.

Smallc
I'm curious as to why you would turn it off? I find it a lot easier to quote with it off. I split the text up a lot, and it just seems so much simpler to me.

Michael Hardner
It just started happening about 3 days ago. There weren't any updates here that I know of, so it must be a Chrome update. Still works here.

Smallc
I've got the same issue when using the manual editing format. Are you using OSX? Yes. It doesn't seem to be a problem here at work on Windows 10.
cybercoma
Yes. That is what your choice of browser-company wants you to experience. Nothing has changed in the forum software. I appreciate you guessing at what the issue is, but it's not a problem in Windows 10, as Smallc notes above. It's something about Chrome for OSX; however, Michael Hardner doesn't appear to be having the same issue in OSX.
cybercoma
OSX here too. I'm not seeing it but it does split words in the middle, which I find weird. What version, Cyber ? Chrome Version 49.0.2623.87 (64-bit) OSX Yosemite 10.10.5 I haven't upgraded to the new OSX yet because there were issues with it playing well with Office. Until I've submitted outstanding projects, I won't upgrade. Smallc, what version of Chrome/OSX are you using at home?
Smallc
Smallc, what version of Chrome/OSX are you using at home? I'm not sure. I check when I'm there.
Smallc
I appreciate you guessing at what the issue is, but it's not a problem in Windows 10, as Smallc notes above. Actually, it's suddenly started doing it on Windows 10, so it must be a Chrome issue.
