Topaz Posted January 10, 2016 Report Posted January 10, 2016 CBC is reporting the actor Sean Penn was the one who help Mexican official locate the escape drug lord Guzman. In the interview with Penn, Guzman said at the age of 15 he started in the business of drug business because there were no jobs to make a living and so he entered into the business, even though he knew drug are dangerous. The reporter reporting the story asked how could Penn find this guy and not the US or Mexican officials? Well, from articles and books I've read perhaps the US CIA is still dealing and didn't want to catch him. http://www.cbc.ca/news/world/joaquin-el-chap-guzman-drug-lord-captured-1.3396955 Quote
kimmy Posted January 10, 2016 Report Posted January 10, 2016 How could Penn find "El Chapo"? Because El Chapo's desire to be immortalized on film led him to divulge information to Sean Penn that he wouldn't have divulged otherwise. El Chapo's ego was his downfall. -k Quote (╯°□°)╯︵ ┻━┻ Friendly forum facilitator! ┬──┬◡ノ(° -°ノ)
On Guard for Thee Posted January 10, 2016 Report Posted January 10, 2016 Yes and I hear an agreement has been reached to send him to the US to face charges there. Getting a tunnel drilled to his cell shower may prove a tad more difficult there. Quote
Rue Posted January 10, 2016 Report Posted January 10, 2016 Sean Penn. No way it was Steve Seagal. On a serious note, they put him smack dab back in the prison he escaped from. Its like a Road Runner cartoon. Quote

More likely the cartel will promise to kill some prison staff, their families and their pets if they don't just agree to be bribed. Quote Science too hard for you? Try religion!
Topaz Posted January 11, 2016 Author Report Posted January 11, 2016 Shady, go to your library and get the book "Operation Gladio" written by a former CIA agent, and you'll find that the CIA has/is in the drug business to make money to support their own private operations. Quote
PIK Posted January 11, 2016 Report Posted January 11, 2016 But will penn have to go into hiding. I hope so, for ever. Quote Toronto, like a roach motel in the middle of a pretty living room.

PIK Posted January 11, 2016 Report Posted January 11, 2016 Well when the Mexicans say he helped them with the capture, El Chapo could be pissed off. With some cartels you only need to lose a soccer game to lose your life. What I find funny is that needs to be explained. Quote Toronto, like a roach motel in the middle of a pretty living room.

If you were one of the very few people to have suffered through his last movie-The Gunman- you'd know why. Either that, or we should all go into hiding before he releases his next sanctimonious vanity project. Quote Science too hard for you? Try religion!
bill_barilko Posted January 12, 2016 Report Posted January 12, 2016 If any of you had even bothered to read the (elementary school level) interview you'd know Penn met Chapo back in October. The whole 'Penn Meets Chapo and We All Win' angle is pulled from deep dark recesses of the Mexican gov't anal orifice to deflect attention from their own corruption & incompetence and of course in the Modern Age people would rather titter over celebrity foibles than think for themselves-see the posts above for details.
