Sorry for the thread drift, btw, but prioritizing national spending was the example used and I'm trying to assess how people prioritize security vs education.

Looks like someone has a new patronizing catch phrase !

Im pretty sure the argument that, things can happen, even if we try to stop them, isn't much of a reason not to bother trying to stop them, o, and nothing happened to anyone, but that is apparently some form of abuse. Anyway, I think some of you would prefer something did happen, rather than maybe have it prevented, after all, we wouldn't want to abuse people by paying attention to them, since history has shown, that this sort of thing has never happened before, anywhere, ever. I suppose they could stop acting like children, protesting projects of national interest, trying to prevent them from being built, while driving to the protests in their gas powered cars, if not I suppose they can expect some scrutiny.

I would rather things be prevented. The Toronto 17 was a perfect example of how current existing laws are sufficient to prevent major terror attacks. Canadian intelligence services were in control of the plot part way through as they managed to infiltrate the group early on.

You will stop large plots. People talk. You cannot stop Lone Wolves, they don't talk.

You're a "forum facilitator" pointing out obvious trolling as if the troll or other members don't know about it and would be shocked to see this member's hypocrisy.

Here's some news: The other members already knew about the troll and are not surprised.

Instead of ignoring the troll, or, gods forbid, actually doing something about it, you contribute to thread drift. Maybe this should be a bit of an eye opener that tells you what sort of detriment to the forum this type of trolling is and you'll spring into action with your mod-like powers and do something... no?
