Anyone recall the movie Wild in the Streets where hippies throw jugs of liquid LSD into Washington DC's water supply and the next thing you know members of Congress are completely stoned out of their minds?

Are you implying a link between conservatism and memory loss? You could be onto something, I've read that keeping an open mind is a possible antidote.

I don't think an open mind antidote is possible. There is an allergic reaction.

Maybe some sort of transplant would work. It might only take a few neurons, from stem-cells perhaps.

In Wild in the Streets the hippies just rounded up everyone over 30, put them into love camps and fed them LSD.

How many times are you going to spew out that garbage? Once again (or is it three times now) - well over 30,000 "complaints" were sent to Elections Canada through a Leadnow.org online website - mostly at the urging of the NDP. Elections Canada reclassified them as "contacts" - a polite way of dismissing them as irrelevant. Have a look (again):

as well... as you say, "how many times are you going to spew out that garbage?" Again, "we found nuthin... cause we weren't allowed to find sumthin!" ... the investigative abilities of Elections Canada are/were quite limited, its investigation was quite compromised and it is/was under significant constraint.

Yeah I mentioned that a little earlier on here and isn't it funny how they have retreated from their 'tough on crime" stance as they the polls holding steady for JT.

Maybe trudeau is peaking to early. And as I have said harper left the door open for easing up on the weed law.

a sophisticated career-minded wife, Sophie Grégoire, and three adorable young children with the interesting names that only confident parents bestow: Xavier James, Ella-Grace and Hadrien. He has an English degree from McGill, a UBC teaching degree and taught for several years. He has his father’s intellect and wit, while being more down to earth, and his mother’s good looks and warmth. And the guy, a Montrealer, can wear a suit.

She is the Star's attack dog for all things Conservative.....a lovely glowing tribute to young Trudeau and his beautiful family. Heck, we might as well call off the election and save some money. Just hand him the keys. He's so handsome.......

And they caught the guy that was in trudeau's house, he was drunk. He left them a note to lock their doors or something like that and the knives....trudeau's. I guess his wife forgot to put them away.

yes, drunk... apparently, entered the wrong house... said to have written a general note without regard to knowing who the owners of the house even were. The rest is your "vivid" imagination!

Watching the CBC when the police gave a statement. Appears the guy was intoxicated, decided to steal a few things while he had wandered into the wrong house. The knives were quality material so he picked them out and place them on the counter then changed his mind about stealing them - that is what the police spokesman reported and why they decided not to charge him with anything.

Though anybody coming home, finding that an intruder had been there and saw the knives and note would very rightly assume some connection with the two.

That does not diminish the fear and concern that Ms Trudeau and the children would have felt.

Note - For those expecting a response from Big Guy: I generally do not read or respond to posts longer then 300 words nor to parsed comments.

No it would not. I imagine she would like to move right now and I would not blame her. The house will not feel the same.
