On Guard for Thee Posted May 18, 2014 Report Posted May 18, 2014 Then apparently Florida weather trumps any concerns about consensual sex laws and associated prison sentences. Typical.... She was granted asylum based on "cruel and unusual punishment" I would find that a blemish to my country. Quote

It's easy to demonstrate that Canadians will continue to winter in Florida. Not a struggle at all. Go back home to boink 16-year-olds (or younger according to you). I'll bet there are 16 year olds bonking each other all over Florida and whatever state you hail from. And I bet they will continue to do so not matter what some old croc thinks of it. Quote

I don't care why they go to Florida...just that they will continue to do so even after this smug-fest over asylum for this woman's case. bush_cheney2004 Posted May 18, 2014 Report Posted May 18, 2014 (edited) I'll bet there are 16 year olds bonking each other all over Florida and whatever state you hail from. This case involved an adult who not only raped an underage person, but fled sentencing upon conviction under appeal. Advocating for adult sexual relations with 16 year-olds is not responsible or tolerated in Florida. She is a convicted sex offender. VERO BEACH — A woman out of jail on a 30-year sentence in a sex crime case now is a fugitive from justice, according to the State Attorney's Office. Denise Harvey, 43, formerly of Vero Beach, got out of the Indian River County Jail in 2008 under a $150,000 bail soon after she appealed her sentence and conviction of repeatedly having sex with her son's 16-year-old friend on a Vero Beach High School baseball team in 2006. She is now and will always be a registered sex offender. Frankly, I don't know how she was permitted to cross the border into Canada as a convicted felon, rapist, and sex offender. Maybe she had sex with the CBSA border guards too. Edited May 18, 2014 by bush_cheney2004 Quote Economics trumps Virtue. Â

So you would advocate and support Americans or other nationals breaking laws in Canada because such actions are not illegal in other nations ? Things like handgun ownership, hate speech, medical insurance for scheduled procedures, etc. She is a convicted sex offender...just like any other. On Guard for Thee Posted May 18, 2014 Report Posted May 18, 2014 Are other convicted sex offenders also welcomed in Canada ? Are felons who flee sentencing welcomed in Canada ? As long as they haven't broken Canadian law. Quote
bush_cheney2004 Posted May 18, 2014 Report Posted May 18, 2014 (edited) As long as they haven't broken Canadian law. Good...they should bring their hand guns and thumb their nose at Canadian Law by going back to the USA whenever they wish. All Canadians who want hand guns should get them and just go to the U.S. if met with any grief by the RCMP. Hand guns are legal in the U.S. after all. We know all about guns up here. We just don't shoot each other with them in high schools, theaters, etc., etc. We use them for a bit of hunting now and then. Put food on the table. Quote

bush_cheney2004 Posted May 18, 2014 Report Posted May 18, 2014 If Canadian taxpayers want to pay for convicted American sex offender rapists and their families then I am sure others will be happy to join the party north of the border.
