socialist
Heard a little about Agenda 21 but haven't had a lot of time to look into it. It doesn't seem too bad as it is all about sustainable development and protecting the environment which are good things. Seems like some people are making a big deal out of this when it is really nothing. Clip is from Sun News so take it for what it's worth. http://www.sunnewsnetwork.ca/video/2966593149001
PIK
Thanks to sun news the only paper to look into this group and it is another we want to run your life group. But unfortunitly to many people have been sucked into this way of thinking. Just like old phil on that duck show, speaks of his christian beliefs and he gets canned. Either do as we say or pay the price. Screw free speech. And future landowners beware. Edited December 24, 2013 by PIK
Michael Hardner
I don't think you should base your ethics on fictional characters, PIK. You don't get free speech to tell your boss off - there are limits.

You don't get free speech to tell your boss off - there are limits. He did not tell his boss off, he spoke about what he believed. And they have made A&E alot of money. We will see who breaks 1st. And back to the subject I hope canadians do not get sucked into this. Before we know we will have no say in our own country or lives. kimmy
Agenda 21 is a plan to promote sustainable development and policies to reduce environmental impact of human population growth. It's voluntary and non-binding. The idea that it's "sinister" and "very dagnerous" is retarded. -k

bleeding heart
And what's with the "free speech" Duck Dynasty crossover stuff? You can get canned from Walmart if you make public statements that the company feels puts them in a bad light through association. As Walmart informs all new employees. Whether it was a good or a bad business decision is the only sane discussion we can have about it.
overthere
I've never worked anywhere in my life where all employees could speak for or about the company publicly. Big corps and government departments all have communications people to handle 'the message'.
jacee
Either do as we say or pay the price. Screw free speech.PIKThe constitutional guarantee of free speech simply means that you can't be thrown in jail or otherwise punished by the state for speaking your mind. (Barring conspiracy and other specific verbal crimes.) It doesn't mean there are no social consequences. You can speak your mind freely ... and you can take the social consequences. . Michael Hardner
And you can prove that? I will oblige: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Agenda_21 Agenda 21 is a non-binding, voluntarily implemented action plan of the United Nations with regard to sustainable development.[1] It is a product of the UN Conference on Environment and Development (UNCED) held in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, in 1992. It is an action agenda for the UN, other multilateral organizations, and individual governments around the world that can be executed at local, national, and global levels.
