Topaz
Good he deserves it. And he should be given a dressing down by the boss for being a idiot. Adams is a woman from Guelph, who spent a lot on makeup and haircare during the last election and who dating the former communication advisor to Harper, the one that was in trouble with the Port of Montreal. scribblet
Actually it sounds like there are two sets of rules here, one for Mulcair who got away with breaking the law by driving through stop signs, while MP Eve Adams was fined for talking on her cellphone while driving through a checkpoint. I guess pulling a Reece Witherspoon paid off for Mr. Mulcair. http://www.cbc.ca/news/politics/story/2013/06/19/pol-adams-cell-driving-ticket.html

hitops
Actually it sounds like there are two sets of rules here, one for Mulcair who got away with breaking the law by driving through stop signs, while MP Eve Adams was fined for talking on her cellphone while driving through a checkpoint. I guess pulling a Reece Witherspoon paid off for Mr. Mulcair. http://www.cbc.ca/news/politics/story/2013/06/19/pol-adams-cell-driving-ticket.html No that is not supported anywhere. One the one hand you have guy who ran not just 1 but 5 stop signs with the police already signaling him to stop, and who then threatened the officer with his status, and one the other hand you have a women who got a ticket and paid it without fuss. There is not similarity between those incidents. It's grotesque to threaten a person implying consequences to their employment (you will be in trouble) just because you think you are a bigshot. They should have given him a ticket for each stop sign and taken him into custody for failing to stop for a police officer. He should have thought about how important he was overnight at the station. margrace
Boy I can't believe how twisted this story is he just didn't stop at the check gate and a new person there did not recognize him. Conservatives will go to any length to defend their beloved leader. Show is the check big boy.
