eyeball Posted November 19, 2012 Report Posted November 19, 2012 (edited) Maybe posters should have counters in their profiles that let everyone know how many times they've reported someone to the authorities. This would give people the opportunity to decide whether they want to tangle with them or not. Just for the record, I've never reported anyone here or anywhere else for that matter. Nobody likes a snitch. Unless they're snitching on the authorities that is. But that said, it's the snitches that seem to get their noses out of joint the fastest whenever anyone with the temerity and unmitigated gall to question or diss authority stands up to be counted. Nobody likes a snitch. I confess to having reported people. Why? Because I want a discussion/argument/fight to be on a level playing ground. Having been suspended a few times I am reluctant to reply in kind when someone goes over the line in insulting me (mild insults don't count). So it's either be noble and above things... which I admit I'm not, or report them. WWWTT Posted November 19, 2012 Report Posted November 19, 2012 Good grief, I disagree with just about everyone. That defeats the purpose of debate just reporting it. I look at freedom as a two way street, better be careful replying to him or it's off to the cooler. Oh the irony... Just so. My world is more interesting with the bluebloods with whom I can discuss and debate. That's a real funny thing to write??? Because I only report people who break the rules. However blueblood,on this thread has been writing that this kid "broke the rules (law) and deserves what's coming to him" WWWTT Quote Maple Leaf Web is now worth $720.00! Well, doesn't that just make you a swell person. Yeah, I've "snitched" and I will do it again, and again and again. Want to wish me dead? Go ahead and I'll "snitch." More often, though, I will "snitch" when I see someone breaking the rules ad nauseum. Usually it's for troll like behaviour or ad hominem attacks that derail a discussion. More often than not I am not even a part of the discussion. I'm a lurking "snitch" which probably puts me into the lowest circle of hell among people who think like you do. These people deserve to be suspended because they ruin the discussion for the rest of us. It's quite easy to not be "snitched" on, however. Quite simple: do not break the rules. Or, in bluebloods' words: don't be a "dumbass." [oh, the irony, eh, WWWTT? ] Nobody likes a snitch. Sure, whatever. Unless they're snitching on the authorities that is. But that said, it's the snitches that seem to get their noses out of joint the fastest whenever anyone with the temerity and unmitigated gall to question or diss authority stands up to be counted.
