Those crazy Muslims in Uganda have somehow forced the passage of the "Kill The Gays" act. http://www.huffingto..._2116584.html I'm not sure how they did it when 85% of the country is Christian, but somehow those effn' Muslims are responsible.

2002 Census:

Christian - 85.2%

Muslim - 12.1%

None - 0.9%

Some Christian clerics at the meeting in the Ugandan capital, Kampala, asked the speaker to pass the law as "a Christmas gift."

This is where religion will take a culture if there isn't push-back from secularists. There is a reason that religion was pushed from politics over the last few centuries. If it wasn't, I'm sure we would have "God's Laws" like in Uganda rather than what has been fought for today...

"Bristol University's Christian Union Bans Women From Speaking At Meetings" - http://www.huffingto...html?1354632346

Well that's not entirely true. Women are permitted to speak if accompanied by their husband. Good ol' Christian morals, Kirk Cameron and the Puritans would be proud.

1 Timothy 2:12

But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence.

This brings the following perverse thought into my head.... given the verse above, why is Betsy here trying to teach us all bible lessons? I'm not sure she believes all the mumbo-jumbo in the bible herself...

Christian values? Christian School Kicks Out Disabled Student for Needing a Service Dog

In my opinion, the cruel act perpetrated by this Christian school is blessing in disguise. By attending a public school Anika will be around a more diverse group of people, expanding her world view and separating herself from the cult message. I suspect that she will grow into a more tolerant, skeptical and reasonable individual than she would have otherwise.

And Hitler is a revered figure among large swaths of Hindu right-wingers in India, particularly among adherents to Shiv Sena politics and the late Bal Thackeray.

A teacher was interviewed on the CBC today, and said that the majority of her students thought very highly of Hitler.

This too is the fault of the Muslims, I assume.

This kind of idiocy doesn't even merit a response.

There is less violence in schools in other countries that have less religion.... Hmmmmm.... God works in mysterious ways!

Also, looking at the community from the images on tv, it looked to be a very religious area. Many vigils at churches, many people talking about how they knew someone involved in the tragedy from their church.

I guess that's nut enough for God or the religious whack jobs.

Check out this douchebag.

“Why do you still send your kids to the governmental schools?” the pastor asked the congregation. “What’s behind this shooting that we saw on Dec. 14 in Newtown, Connecticut and the other one’s like it? What’s going on. Well, number one, deception… I got news for you, when you kicked God out of schools, you’re going to be judged for that.”

Morris insisted that “humanism” in schools taught Lanza that he was God and “he can just go blow away anybody he wants.”

“When I got in high school, man, I started learning all this kingdom, phylum stuff, all this junk about evolution,” he recalled. “And I want to tell you what evolution teaches — here’s the bottom line — that you’re an animal. That’s what it teaches. So, you’re an animal, you can act like an animal. Amen.”

“So, here you are, you’re an animal and you’re a god! So, what are we going to teach you about in school? Well, we can teach you about sex, we can teach you how to rebel to you parents, we can teach you how to be a homo! But we’re definitely not going to teach you about the word of God! Amen.”

He added: “They think homeschoolers are a bunch of crazies, man. But I’m going to tell you something, I’ve never seen a police officer or a medal detector at a home school. Never. Amen. Now, there’s plenty of guns at my home school. Amen. I guarantee you we’re not going to have a mass shooting at any of the schools that are represented in this building today. I guarantee you, if there is a shooting, it won’t last very long. Amen.”

“I guarantee you there’s at least six or seven guns in this place right now. Amen.”

Let me tell you, some of these Independent Baptists are bughouse loco, amen, and I'm glad that even in the Bible Belt, chumps like this guy are a small minority, amen. At least that's what I tell myself to help me sleep at night, amen.

Yet roughly 4/5 people in prison are Christian, while roughly 1/500 identify as atheist.

...if only there was more God in schools.

Roughly 4/5 people in society are Christian, coincidence? 100% of the people who are jihadist suicide bombers are Muslim.

From what I understand the Tamil Tigers (Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam) are credited with the invention of suicide bombing. The group members are primarily Hindu, but many of the top dogs, including former leader Velupillai Prabhakaran, were Christian.

This is downright pornographic!!! Some Indonesian, Muslim politicians believe women straddling a motorcycle show too many curves. No helmet requirement, but let's protect the population from clothed women. Sigh.

I'm highlighting the "religious nut jobbery" of a Muslim based policy to ban women from straddling a motorcycle.

At present it seems the law which, will prevent women from piloting bikes is destined to pass. I hope the youth can figure out a way to prevent it. I hope youth in general fight religious nutjobbery on all fronts.

A summary of last months religious nutjobbery.

Firstly, I think you have posted a video to make an argument for you rather than making your argument. That's a technical point, though.

Secondly, I don't agree with posters condemning groups by posting bad acts performed by their members. Are you condemning men ? Young people ? Britons ? Finger pointing isn't helpful, and reflects your biases just as much as any bad behavior being shown. It takes and observer and an observed to show perspective.

Also - and this is a personal view - this kind of posting can't possibly lead to productive discussion.
