August1991
Trente-cinq, trente-six... I'm still getting this "hanging" problem. (The dots blinking at the top of the post.) Usually, I just copy my response, click on backpage and then paste a new response. Irritating. Does anyone else still have this problem? I'm using IE9. Michael Hardner
No - I have as fast response time as I have ever had. Try another browser - Chrome is fast.

Usually, I just copy my response, click on backpage and then paste a new response. Irritating. Does anyone else still have this problem? I'm using IE9. It is your computer, August. Try a different browser. Microsoft's browsers have been notorious for incompatibility problems. As I am trying to type now, I see my cursor jerk around and highlt stuff that I am not trying to highlight. This could be the problem. I see it appear now as I try to edit this post. I am getting a short hang but it is certainly longer than all other browsers. Charles Anthony
Perhaps you are using the IE9(32-bit) version on a computer that is 64-bit? Just a guess. If so, then switching to the 64-bit IE may resolve the problem.
Charles Anthony
It could be an incompatibility with the Text Editing mode. August, When you are in the "Reply to this topic" editing window, toggle the switch in the top left corner. When your mouse hovers over that button, it should say "Toggle editing mode" in a little pop-up window. Click on it and it should switch you to plaint text mode. Plain text mode is usually most compatible with all text editors.
