Newfoundlander Posted November 28, 2011 Report Posted November 28, 2011 Thanks to the 416, they are to blame for that win. And he has a solid base of support there, as well as the 905. Which could help very much if he decided to go federal. Quote
olp1fan Posted November 28, 2011 Report Posted November 28, 2011 I don't know enough about his policies to have an opinion but he managed to win an election after supposedly wasting billions. that is because his opponents were terrible...Harper is a MENSA member compared to them Quote

I know popular vote smack isn't really relevant when 40% can win a majority BUT. Dalton only beat Hudak by 2% point popular vote. Quote

Shwa Posted November 28, 2011 Report Posted November 28, 2011 Anybody think of other potential leaders? For the Federal Liberals? There is already a megathread about that. But I'll say it now, the only person that can competently lead the LPC is Dominic Leblanc. End of story. Quote
fellowtraveller Posted November 28, 2011 Report Posted November 28, 2011 I'm hoping for Justin Trudeau or Sheila Copps. Both would be even better. Quote The government should do something.

LeBlanc has disappeared in recent months. Quote

The bill was approved on 1st & 2nd reading but the minority government refused to let it go to 3d reading, thus killing it. Up yer ass dultone. This minority government will fall as soon as they present a budget. Quote

Boges Posted November 28, 2011 Report Posted November 28, 2011 Nope, Scott Brison. Former member of the PCs being a leader of the Liberals? Jean Charest doesn't want any of that? I think they'd stand a better chance with Bob Rae. Quote
