Someone had mentioned the year he/she was born in another thread and it seems that there is a broad range of ages here. I thought I would take a poll to see what the distribution is.

I'm actually quite surprised at the number of responses, considering this is in the Arts and Culture forum. There didn't seem to be any forum that it fit, so thanks for answering folks.

One of my earliest memories was watching the last commercial steam powered train chug its way out of Toronto.

Mine was watching the first one come in. ;)

No way.

On May 16, 1853, the Ontario Simcoe and Huron Union Railroad Company operated the first steam train in Canada West from Toronto

Assuming this was also the first train to arrive in TO you'd have to be like 158 years old to have seen it.

I guess this must be "my" train. It looks smaller than I remember.

Why would anyone refuse to answer an anonymous poll?

By marking that they "refuse" to answer are they really refusing to answer?

If a believer demands that I, as a non-believer, observe his taboos in the public domain, he is not asking for my respect but for my submission. And that is incompatible with a secular democracy. Flemming Rose (Dutch journalist)

The replies to this thread are very artistic. I see this was the right forum for it after all.

I guess this is where we bring in the mandatory Rush video?

Although I don't know if this should be called art. :P

I waved at your port side as you went by through the Don Valley. I got a whistle blast in return.

Pffft. With modern health care we are here for a long, long time. That makes me happy and pisses me off at the same time. :D

Want to do some detective work to find out who the "3" are? I think I know and why BUT if I say and I'm wrong they probably give me a blast for being wrong. Hint....are the usual poster posted on here? I did post and I'll even tell you by birthday is coming up on the 18th! It is said the women usually don't want to say their age and men do. True or false?
