Dexter is always entertaining and so were all 8 seasons of 24

Damages is a thriller!

Six Feet Under was a journey which had the best closing scene of any show

Prison Break, Smallville were very entertaing

Am currently on the third season of Lost!

Will always love Everwood

Seen every season of Survivor!

Everybody Loves Raymond is my favourite sitcom

Big Bang Theory and Corner Gas amuse me as does Malcom In The Middle

The OC had its moments as did One Tree Hill

Anyways, I own most of those series .. its good tv for the winter eh?

Which shows do you all enjoy and do you have anything to add about the shows I listed?

Yes, I watch a lot of tv ...but in my defense it is good TV

My TV watching consist of soaps, watching news shows, Question Period, reality shows as Big Brother, survivor, housewives of New Jersey, NewYork, LA. Dancing with the stars. I've checked out the Home shopping network to see what the new products are and I also watch the movie channel on the weekends.

Terra Nova is a really good new show.

Boardwalk Empires, Game of Thrones, True Blood and Curb your Enthusiasm are all great HBO shows.

Walking Dead starts up again this weekend. Looking forward to that.

I'm still a fan of CSI: Vegas.

Big Bang Series is one of the funniest shows on TV.

Hockey Night in Canada (or hockey games in general. CFL, CIS, CFB, NFL, boxing. Toronto Rock when I can get the games.)

CityTV News including BT, although I do admit to watching morning CP24 for Lindsey Deluce and Melissa Grelo.

The CBC Documentary Channel, sometimes The Nature of Things.

Murdoch Mysteries.

SNL, The Office, Corner Gas re-runs when I can.

Most PBS documentary shows, but especially Nova, The History Detectives, everything by Ken Burns and the odd British archaeological show.

Antiques Roadshow, all versions.

Terra Nova looks good as does Falling Skies on Showcase.

I used to watch Discovery, NG Channel and History Channel regularly, but lately they have sucked so I don't bother with them much.

terra nova? really... 3 episodes in and it's already boring it held promise because of it's setting but it's just another weekly soap. nothing new to see here...a format combination of desperate housewives and any cheap cop show...

history channel used to be good but ya it's starting to suck big time, my archeologist who lives in the basement and myself ripping apart the silly myths and poor analysis and conclusions of many programs...it's on my list of programs to be cancelled...

What was wrong with the first episode?

The last two have been situational with problems to solve, they solve it, they move on. Typical TV stuff.

I'm sure the storyline with dood's son doing hyroglifics and the war with the "Sixers" should produce good drama in the coming episodes.

I would like them to explore the ramifications of living on a pre-historic earth a bit more however.

They are playing to a broad family crowd with the whole nuclear family dynamic.

the only good episode, it's gone downhill fast from there...

shades of "lost" and "prison break"...

yes that's where the show held promise, different from other programs but that's apparently being ignored, it needs more jurassic park and less desperate housewives...

a la "swiss family robinson"...I'll be surprised if it last one season, two tops if it continues on this track, nothing new to see here....my 11 year old can't even sit through it, when a dinosaur show doesn't hold the interest of an 11yr old you know it's got problems..

The previous two episodes could have been shoehorned into any part of the season, they weren't really critical to character development.

We'll have to see, I won't stop watching yet.

I wanted to try Terra Nova but apparently its not getting enough viewers so they will shorten the season to 12 episodes or something I read

Plus its Hockey season and WWE Raw is on Mondays lol

DVR's FTW.

Then again you clearly don't have HBO either. <_<

not enough grit for adults, not enough dinos for kids, and not enough of whatever it is that appeals to the "twilight" crowd...

It needs a little more horny housewife dinosaur vampires.

Kind of like this.

Let’s see………The only new TV show that’s caught my eye has been Prime Suspect……..reminds me of the old episodes of Law & Order………Love Big Bang Theory & 30 Rock (My wife calls me Jack Donaghy)……Breaking Bad……looking forward to season two of the Walking Dead and waiting for Hell on Wheels……..NFL football & NHL….For news/current events, O’Reily Factor, Hannity, Fox News Sunday, the National and if I’m home during the day, Power & Politics…….For Documentaries, Newsworld & PBS…..I’ll echo the thoughts on History…….When their Sunday night movie is The Mummy every weekend, and their marathons feature American pickers….Swamp People & Ice Road Truckers, in my view they’ve lost focus…..Through in A&E and Discovery both taking a turn for the worse……….For Movies, AMC, TCM and the various Showcase channels…….Oh and both Top Gears

I dislike TV comedy shows like Two and a Half Men. I get my laughs right here on MLW and watching Solomon on P and P.

My fave dramas are NCIS LA, Law and Order New York, Bluebloods and The Good Wife.

Catch a lot of old flicks I've never seen on TCM and chick flicks on the Women's Network.

I listen to talk radio. Mostly conservative talk radio, like that old geezer Lowell Green on CFRA. On SunNews TV, I tune in to David Akin and Brian Lilley.

Every day I wake up and see the ceiling is merciful. Then I repeat everything all over again. There's a kind of bliss that can only be found in a routine.

If you enjoy crime dramas, check out Prime Suspect tomorrow night at 10pm

TV isn't that good these days. My fav shows now are probably Pawn Stars, Auction Hunters, and Deadliest Warrior. I watch a lot of news. Also like watching The Ultimate Fighter UFC reality show.

I used to love Lost, but that's gone & it really started to suck after Season 3 anyways. I watched the 1st episode of Game of Thrones but it kinda sucked even though I like that genre.

I've seen one episode and it's looking good to me.

Speaking of Prime Suspect, I was hooked on the British show by the same title starring Helen Mirren. That's a classic in my books.
