Guy Seemann is an intern, who acted on his own. Now you think everything an intern does can be attributed to the nation? To the government?

When the video was exposed as a hoax, the Prime Minister's office said the video was promoted by an intern, Guy Seemann. "Mr Seemann is a 25-year-old who is interning in our office. His tweet was a mistake on his part. It was done without authorisation and without approval. His mistake has been pointed out to him."

Just out of curiosity, when Carolyn Parrish. who was an MP in comparison to an intern, said "Damn Americans. Hate those bastards," do you think it would it have been appropriate to make headlines claiming 'Canada hates Americans - calls them bastards?'

you're desperately hanging onto 'the intern did it' bs.

why not respond to this:

Update 3: A further clue as the hoax video’s origins appeared on Wednesday. As Max Blumenthal reported on Friday, one of the first people to promote the hoax video online seems to have been Neil Lazarus, a communications expert who claims on his professional Web site to have advised both the Israeli prime minister’s office and the Israeli ministry of foreign affairs.

That Mr. Lazarus posted the video on his Facebook wall is known because one of his Facebook friends, Elan Miller, found it there and shared it with his friends on the social network about 6 hours after it was first posted on YouTube.

On Wednesday, a blogger at the Electronic Intifada told The Lede that someone in Mr. Miller’s Facebook network said that the video had just 35 views on YouTube shortly after it was shared by Mr. Miller late Thursday night.

That means that Mr. Lazarus was one of the first people to watch the video and then advise others to do so. He has not yet responded to a request to explain how it was that he found out about the clip so soon after it was posted and before it attained any popularity.

the information showing that israel is capable goes beyond the above connection. also mentioned in this thread is israel's use of the 'gay card' in past internet campaigns.

if you're looking for a page with a signature from the israeli government as the only way you'll agree that the israeli government was behind it, then this conversation is over. but if you want to look at all the information surrounding the event, then what happened points directly at the israeli government.

Who cares...Hamas murders homosexuals.

who cares... hamas' views and actions on homosexuals has nothing to do with:

1) the flotillas campaign (which has members of LGBT participating in the campaign) and;

2) does not excuse creating a hoax video which seems to have been created by the israeli government

"Seems to" being the active phrase. Yeah...homosexuals supporting Hamas...must be into S&M.

How was Pride Day in Gaza?

how is that connected to a hoax video distributed (and most likely created) by the israeli government portraying the flotilla activists as anti-gay?

The irony of it all....lets face it, the flotillas true organizers are as pro gay as Anita Bryant...and 10000 times as deadly...

BTW, i wasn't aware the israeli gov't owned youtube....or maybe you're just full of shit and can't resist the slander and innuendo...

which

really? maybe you should learn a little about the people behind the flotillas, especially those from the united states and canada. there are members of LGBT on those ships.

so your comment about hamas' views and actions on homosexuals has no bearing on what the people on the flotilla feel about homosexuals.

it's the israeli government's past and present propaganda using any means, including social media to get their propaganda out. it's about who originally posted the youtube video and his connection with the israeli government. all signs point to the government who has been caught lying many times.

Hamas is behind the flotillas, The opinions of the useful idiots sailing on them is irrelevant.

Perhaps that's his own personal opinion, and to use your logic, your words, since it hasn't been proven that they aren't, then it's not misinformation to claim that they are.

Hammas gained power by finding the one weakness in the state of Israel - good old fashioned cheapness. Palistinians are like trained dogs when it comes to Hammas...They follow who ever feeds them. This is a simple concept. To bad Isreal did not understand that the average Palistinian that embraces Hammas is NOT a terrorist - just another hungry dog.

Either way, it looks like the Sea Hitler flotilla is coming apart at the seams.

Either way, it looks like the Sea Hitler flotilla is coming apart at the seams.

It just was not being done in good faith. As I state earlier you don't imply with a banner that you love Gaza - with out suggesting you hate Israel. ANY hate or panic driven decsions are not going to fair well or end well. From what I understand Greece has made an offer to act as a mediator and delivery agent..The protestors will not be satisfied unless they get their faces into some sort of fray - a confrontation. It's realistic to say that those attempting to cure a problem are not the sharpest tools in the shed - The flotilla gang wants glory - and the seeking of personal glory is a self serving persuit and not in good faith or the service of Palistine.

At least this thing will bring about some discussion on the fact that Hamas has to be up rooted through benevolent action. As mentioned the average Palistinian is not an idealog...or by first choice a terrorist - It seems that Hamas has a certain smell of that of the crimminal element - perhaps this crimminality is shared by some Israeli leaders...an end has to come to the discomfort that Israel suffers and the more intense discomfort that is endured by the folks on the Gaza Strip.

This is a solvable dilema. It will not reach a good and useful conclution until the glory seekers and adventurers on both sides are quelled.

So in other words, at worst they're guilty of being human and/or just like every other nation's government. Unless you can point me to a nation whose government officials have always, in every instance, been "honest and intelligent?"

How did a system of service evolve into an entity that lacks honesty and intelligence? One would imagine that in a democratic state we would some how have a system that would attract the honest and intelligent to do our bidding? Perhaps politics in general is a game that is played by the low brow wanna be elite?

So where is the EVIDENCE?

A proof is a proof.

  • Free speech: "You can say what you want, but I don't have to lend you my megaphone."
  • Always remember that when you are in the right you can afford to keep your temper, and when you are in the wrong you cannot afford to lose it. - J.J. Reynolds.
  • Will the steps anyone is proposing to fight "climate change" reduce a single temperature, by a single degree, at a single location?
  • The mantra of "world opinion" or the views of the "international community" betrays flabby and weak reasoning (link).
