Topaz Posted May 2, 2011 Report Posted May 2, 2011 Conservatives, you mean conservative/reform/alliance/party=CRAP, yes go vote but if you were/are a progressive conservative, or a red Tory like Mulroney, do you really want THIS party back in? This party is NOT like the PC's of Mulroney era. Quote

Hydraboss Posted May 2, 2011 Report Posted May 2, 2011 Correct Topaz. They are nothing like the Mulroney Tories. So now that you've said it, you can quit harping about how the country will go down the same path Brian-Baby took us down so long ago. Thanks for the admission. What I'm saying is some people think the Conservatives is the same party but just drop the "progressive" which we know is not the same party just USING the name to get support. This conservative is made up of CRAP, with the most of the crap, the reform/alliance party and Harper the head of it. Quote
bjre Posted May 2, 2011 Report Posted May 2, 2011 What a pity, for those who don't think Harper is the worst but really don't like the conservative candidate in his own region. I will remember it (and you) as I mark my X beside the name of my Conservative candidate. And again thank you...gives me something to look forward to. Quote
Keepitsimple Posted May 2, 2011 Report Posted May 2, 2011 The Left is always so angry....so frustrated. If they could ever figure out what they want, perhaps they could cobble together a party that could get 40% of Canadians to vote for them. Quote Back to Basics

This conservative is made up of CRAP, with the most of the crap, the reform/alliance party and Harper the head of it. Canadian voters wiped the Mulroney Conservatives off of the map. If "some people" think this, they likely aren't voting Conservative. At the same time, I'm guessing the Liberal Party today isn't the same Liberal Party it was a few years ago, right? Quote
BornAlbertan Posted May 2, 2011 Report Posted May 2, 2011 Daniel, attributing words to someone that aren't theirs? You're kidding right? This pathetic display makes me feel even better yet about my decision to vote Conservative. Quote

amorris1123 Posted May 2, 2011 Report Posted May 2, 2011 (edited) Go back to to soviet russia you commie SOB. Troll much? Personally I'd say a vote for Harper's Conservatives could lead straight down the path of Soviet Russia right into the Orwellian Regime they've got today. Just because you don't support the conservatives doesn't make you a "commie SOB", it just shows that you have some semblance of intelligence. I personally come from a upper middle class family who would suffer the most from the NDP's proposed taxes, but I have the mental capacity to think not only of myself, but instead of the future of our nation and the wellbeing of all. If you prefer to preach selfishness and deceit, then by all means go out and vote for the Conservative candidate today, but if you value the future of our country, and the ideals for which it stands, you'll quickly realize that you must uphold the socialist combination of a strong economy and government funded services for all. http://www.facebook.com/pages/ABC-Anything-But-Conservative/166842386705018?sk=info Edited May 2, 2011 by amorris1123 Quote

RNG Posted May 2, 2011 Report Posted May 2, 2011 I find it sort of humorous that someone would be urging a collection of political junkies like us to vote. I bet there is a vastly higher proportion of posters here who vote than almost any other demographic you could choose. And what are the odds of changing someone on this board's vote at this late date? Quote The government can't give anything to anyone without having first taken it from someone else.

I wonder how many will still be here post-election! I will.. I actually really like the idea of Forums but I never bothered making an account until these elections.. That surge of new members might also reflect the increasing interest that the youth have in politics. I personally couldn't vote until this election so I had little inclination to follow the politics. Edited May 2, 2011 by amorris1123 Quote
