WWWTT Posted April 26, 2011 Report Posted April 26, 2011 Time to counter the anti NDP threads with a loud resounding voice! So any bets on Harpers new career for 2012? How bout Ignatieff,May or Dueceppe? I know where Jack will be! The most uncertainty here is the future of all the parties except the NDP. Cudos for Jack and shame on Harper. Ultimately this is Harpers failing and he should have the hardest fall WWWTT Quote Maple Leaf Web is now worth $720.00! Down over $1,500 in less than one year! Total fail of the moderation on this site! That reminds me, never ask Greg to be a business partner! NEVER!
The_Squid Posted April 26, 2011 Report Posted April 26, 2011 (edited) I don't think that Harper's party will put up with another minority government, especially if they lose seats. With the main opposition (Libs) in a shambles, he still can't win a majority after 3 elections. He will be done. Duceppe and Ignatieff are in the same boat. If they lose seats, I doubt they will be back as leaders of their respective parties. But the most likely outcome is still a CPC minority (with a new leader to follow???). Hopefully with a NDP opposition. And a single seat for the Greens! Edited April 26, 2011 by The_Squid Quote

Oh wait he has never has a job it that field At the very least I expect him to go back to being a right wing nut. Quote "You can lead a Conservative to knowledge, but you can't make him think."

Ultimately this is Harpers failing and he should have the hardest fall WWWTT Harper will probably work for some Christian Families group or for the oil lobby. Iggy will go back to academia. Duceppe will be working for sovereigntist causes until at some time he can take the reins of the PQ. Their replacements? For the CPC, probably Flaherty until he can be replaced by Wall. For the LPC, Trudeau. For the Bloc, who cares? Maybe Marois and Duceppe will trade places. Jack will be PM for about 3 yearsish until he is replaced by Mulclair who will be followed by Wall as PM. Mr.Canada Posted April 26, 2011 Report Posted April 26, 2011 One things for sure here. Jack Laytons NDP surge has made a rather dull election campaign lively and exciting. Good for him. Shady Posted April 26, 2011 Report Posted April 26, 2011 I've never seen so much hype for a party that's probably going to come in third place again. You people are quite amusing. I guess when you're use to being completely irrelevant election after election. A little attention feels like the superbowl! Quote

Mr.Canada Posted April 27, 2011 Report Posted April 27, 2011 I only came to this thread because I thought it had to do with Jack Weber getting banned. I went to his profile page. It lists him as being in the 'members' group. I don't pretend to know how this board works but I think his group would switch to banned if this were the case. I can always be wrong and I often am. Guest peterb Posted April 27, 2011 Report Posted April 27, 2011 Coalition government is a "disoriented government" Now that Duceppe has enlisted the help of Jacques Parizeau, former head of the PQ in Quebec, and has become involved in this election campaign, obviously he smells blood, Canadians must be reminded of his enlightening previous comments, in regards to a coalition in Ottawa. “A weaker govt in Ottawa is eminently satisfying. The image must be one of a weak, disoriented govt which will become weaker and more disoriented in the future. This is perfect” Quote
Smallc Posted April 27, 2011 Report Posted April 27, 2011 Coalition government is a "disoriented government" Yes, because all of those other countries with coalitions, like the UK, Germany, and in many ways Australia are so disoriented. Quote
