Moonlight Graham Posted April 22, 2011 Report Posted April 22, 2011 (edited) Who do you intend to vote for in the 2011 federal election? (or have already voted for if you went to an advanced poll) And yes i'm aware you vote for MP's, not parties, we all know the deal. mikedavid00 Posted April 22, 2011 Report Posted April 22, 2011 This forum has been notoriously Conservative. I highly disagree. Quote ---- Charles Anthony banned me for 30 days on April 28 for 'obnoxious libel' when I suggested Jack Layton took part in illegal activities in a message parlor. Claiming a politician took part in illegal activity is not rightful cause for banning and is what is discussed here almost daily in one capacity or another. This was really a brownshirt style censorship from a moderator on mapleleafweb http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q1oGB-BKdZg---
Shady Posted April 22, 2011 Report Posted April 22, 2011 This forum has been notoriously Conservative. Why? Because the Liberals are losing the poll? Looks like the NDP have almost as many votes as the Conservatives. Does that constitute notoriously conservative? Quote

I do think this forum has more people that voice opinions farther on the right of the political spectrum than would be representative of the Canadian population as a whole. Quote

Bonam Posted April 22, 2011 Report Posted April 22, 2011 Not anymore. It seems to be bipolar with not much support for Liberals. I don't mean this poll. That's just my appraisal of the voices in the various discussions on the topics we discuss here. There is a good balance on this forum between people across the entire political spectrum, including some pretty far right voices, libertarians, etc, which are basically non-factors in the Canadian population but are well represented here. Tilter Posted April 22, 2011 Report Posted April 22, 2011 Why did you put the last item in (I am not a Canadian Citizen)---- Elections Canada sent a bunch of voter cards to Non-Canadians  Let's look at their record: In the last election they discounted a vote in a known CPC area, this time they allowed an unauthorized advance polling station the never had scrutineers of either party but did have Liberal political items in a known Liberal area---- slanted Leanings in Elections Canada maybe? Hydraboss Posted April 22, 2011 Report Posted April 22, 2011 Why are people even eating up bandwidth with this argument? Just answer the damn poll and the answer will "magically" appear. No we really have none of those things on the left although I don't know if on the right there is such an extreme also. Hydraboss Posted April 22, 2011 Report Posted April 22, 2011 Good for him. Name a real poster on MLW that espouses strict financial controls, doesn't give a shit about "green" motives, and is openly against any immigration that isn't of immediate and provable financial benefit to Canada. I'm not including those posters that show up on here every time the election draws near, never to be heard of again, or the mentally unstable (and we both know a few members like that). Smallc Posted April 22, 2011 Report Posted April 22, 2011 Nazis have more in common with socialists than Libertarians. Of course, the extreme right isn't only made up of libertarians. Nazis probably have the most in common with right wing fascists. Quote
