Living next door to the rocky mountains in Calgary would be my vote, I'm lucky because my work takes me through the mountains about three times a week... over the years I've seen some amazing natural wilderness scenes... countless bears black and grizzly, wolves of all colours, cougers , bighorn sheep, mountain goats, mule and white tail deer, a wolverine, elk... the emerald coloured CLEAN water of the Bow... as a native Calgarian I use to take it for granted but the older I get the more I appreciate it... living in a big city and being that close to nature is something that is rare in this country I think... last year on my way to work I saw a bobcat staring down a cat in the middle of my street, it was awesome... I live between the Glenmore Resevoir and Fish Creek park and it is not uncommon to have bears wondering in during the spring... seeing the Rocky Mountains draping the horizon is awesome... I've been to other places in Canada and ofcourse I'm bias, but other than Vancouver nothing else compares ....

I like to stay here in Toronto forever and regard it as the best place not only in Canada rather all over the world. Second choice is the Halifax as my favourite too.

Hope no question on that..

The UP is a lot like most of Canada.

More than a few people I've run into think the U.P. is Canada. :P

I am a big fan of Halifax and Charlottetown.

I would say the town of Banff is my favourite place as well as the mountains surrounding it. biggrin.gif

Victoria is nice. In fact, all of Vancouver Island is.

Banff and Jasper too.

Other than airports I've never been east of the AB/SK border.

I hope to get to the Maritimes next year.
