Shady Posted February 4, 2011 Report Posted February 4, 2011 A new report shows that the unemployment rate dropped from 9.4% to 9.0%. However, the US economy only created 36,000 jobs last month. Compare that to Canada, where the Canadian economy created 70,000 jobs. But our unemployment rate went from 7.6% to 7.8%. Looks like Obama's fudging the numbers again. Unemployment falls to 9%, nearly 2-year low Vs. Canada Job Creation Four Times as Much as Forecast; Unemployment Increases Quote

GostHacked Posted February 4, 2011 Report Posted February 4, 2011 So, tell us, how is Obama fudging the numbers? Or is this ODS related? From what I have heard/read, more people are out of work, but no longer actively looking for work anymore. It may be that those are not counted in the total. Quote

You know he did it when he had 11% unemployment and like magic the numbers fell. So you are blaming the wrong president for this one dummy. That's complete nonsense. Unemployment fell because there was a hell of a lot more than 39,000 jobs per month being created. Look it up. It's fact. Why don't you do a comparison of jobs per month created in Reagan's third year to Obama's? You won't because it blows up your entire argument. 39,000 jobs this month? Seriously? That's the big Obama/Biden trillion dollar stimulus aided economic plan? Reagan created that many jobs in a week. Quote

Yah there were because unemployment even under his "new rules" which he made up was 2% higher. In 1984 unemployment was around 11% so please tell me more how Obama's evil for having 9% and Regan was Jesus. You really know nothing. http://krugman.blogs.nytimes.com/2008/01/20/reaganomics/ Edited February 6, 2011 by punked Quote

Shady Posted February 6, 2011 Author Report Posted February 6, 2011 (edited) In 1984 unemployment was around 11%. That's a complete fabrication. Unemployment dropped to the mid-7 range. Despite 250,000 jobs per month being created. Keep lying, lying liar. NYT *Edit* The article even states that despite a quarter of a million jobs, the unemployment rate remained unchanged for the third straight month. Yet somehow under Obama's regime. 39,000 jobs gets you a .4 percent reduction in the unemployment rate. Like I said, he's completely fudging the numbers. Edited February 6, 2011 by Shady Quote

So you can compare 84 numbers to 2011 numbers but then you would be being an idiot. To say "That's complete nonsense. Unemployment fell because there was a hell of a lot more than 39,000 jobs per month being created. Look it up. It's fact. Why don't you do a comparison of jobs per month created in Reagan's third year to Obama's?" Well I did and at the start of 83 unemployment was still going up and reached 11%. To post an article from 84 shows just how slow you are Shady. After looking we find in Feb 1983 the US economy lost 78,000 jobs and didn't gain one job in 1982 in fact in 82 average was losing 220,000 jobs a month. OHHHHHH NOES SHOCKER! Better come back here and tell me more about 1984 because it is now 2012. No wait it isn't. However under a Democratic congress in 1983 the US number improved a lot after Feb I will remember this when you give all the credit to the Republican congress when the Economy comes back.
