And $2 billion dollar cheaper. But most of all SAFER. As far as I am concerned, and I'm sure Ignatieff as well, if you are breaking the law by not registering your firearms, you are a criminal. It's a pretty easy concept. 1) First of all there's still the amnesty in force (since 1998) 2) Speeding is far more dangerous to public than ignoring some bureauratic paper mess. And mess it is beyond belief. 3) There's no benefit to registering long firearms - since 75 year old handgun registration accomplished nothing. ZILCH. That's true, its was his father that was the accountant. Harper got a job in the mail room and after a period of time went into the computer systems. Shopping list for organized crime is not safe. No it actually isn't. Check the mayham on Canada Stats of death in traffic accidents. Otherwise you have no leg to stand on. Access by hundreds of civilians. And "loss" of hundreds of guns in police storage in Toronto. What does a messy bureaucracy have to do with traffic accidents?
