Topaz Posted January 10, 2011 Report Posted January 10, 2011 Anyone who wants to go and talk to Tory ministers can pay the 500.00 and go talk to the Tory ministers on Feb.9th/11 in Ottawa. The good deal is you pay the 500, get a tax credit of 350.00 and it only cost you $150. in the end. The Liberals on the other hand are have a fundraiser and it cost you $400.00 minus the 350.00 and it will cost you only $50.00 and theirs is on the 29th of January in Ottawa. IF I had the extra money, I would go to both. I'd go and tell Baird my view on his "court jester" acts in Parliament and in the committee meetings and maybe he should change jobs and be an actor, since he likes to play in front of the camera. The Liberals, I would say need to get more communication out to the public. http://www.thestar.com/news/canada/article/918750--500-per-head-baird-fundraiser-touts-cabinet-guests Quote

Why the extra zeros? When was the last time that anyone on this forum paid $500 to go to Ottawa? (Heck, when was the last time anyone on this forum - except Argus - was in Ottawa?) --- Thank God, we live in a democracy. And yes Topaz, we live in a democracy. Especially since the investigation into the Parliament reno contracts that they sold to the highest bidder isn't even complete yet. They will let the taxpayers cough up 75% of the money these Tory creeps donate, and then in the same breath complain about the 1.75 per vote subsidy being "political party welfare". These lying buffoons disgust me almost as much as the ignorant douchebags who vote for them. Quote
