bush_cheney2004 Posted December 12, 2010 Report Posted December 12, 2010 I doubt it but humour me and list the first 50. You do understand that the Taliban never attacked the US, right? Ask our President at the time....he provided the answer to your infantile questions: Americans have many questions tonight. Americans are asking, "Who attacked our country?" The evidence we have gathered all points to a collection of loosely affiliated terrorist organizations known as al-Qaida. They are some of the murderers indicted for bombing American embassies in Tanzania and Kenya and responsible for bombing the USS Cole. Al-Qaida is to terror what the Mafia is to crime. But its goal is not making money. Its goal is remaking the world and imposing its radical beliefs on people everywhere. The terrorists practice a fringe form of Islamic extremism that has been rejected by Muslim scholars and the vast majority of Muslim clerics; a fringe movement that perverts the peaceful teachings of Islam. The terrorists' directive commands them to kill Christians and Jews, to kill all Americans and make no distinctions among military and civilians, including women and children. This group and its leader, a person named Osama bin Laden, are linked to many other organizations in different countries, including the Egyptian Islamic Jihad, the Islamic Movement of Uzbekistan. There are thousands of these terrorists in more than 60 countries. They are recruited from their own nations and neighborhoods and brought to camps in places like Afghanistan, where they are trained in the tactics of terror. They are sent back to their homes or sent to hide in countries around the world to plot evil and destruction. The leadership of al-Qaida has great influence in Afghanistan and supports the Taliban regime in controlling most of that country. In Afghanistan we see al-Qaida's vision for the world. Afghanistan's people have been brutalized, many are starving and many have fled. Women are not allowed to attend school. You can be jailed for owning a television. Religion can be practiced only as their leaders dictate. A man can be jailed in Afghanistan if his beard is not long enough. The United States respects the people of Afghanistan -- after all, we are currently its largest source of humanitarian aid -- but we condemn the Taliban regime. It is not only repressing its own people, it is threatening people everywhere by sponsoring and sheltering and supplying terrorists. By aiding and abetting murder, the Taliban regime is committing murder. And tonight the United States of America makes the following demands on the Taliban. Deliver to United States authorities all of the leaders of al-Qaida who hide in your land. Release all foreign nationals, including American citizens you have unjustly imprisoned. Protect foreign journalists, diplomats and aid workers in your country. Close immediately and permanently every terrorist training camp in Afghanistan. And hand over every terrorist and every person and their support structure to appropriate authorities. Give the United States full access to terrorist training camps, so we can make sure they are no longer operating. These demands are not open to negotiation or discussion. The Taliban must act and act immediately. They will hand over the terrorists, or they will share in their fate. Quote Economics trumps Virtue.

There is one interesting thing though: "But its goal is not making money." Right! The Bin Ladens stood in the way of US capitalism and imperialism in the middle east. The Taliban were the ones that destroyed the poppy fields and the US came in and promptly reseeded them. Do you wonder why? Valid reasons? I have about 3000 of them. Still waiting for the first 50 of YOUR reasons. Are you now wimping out? charter.rights Posted December 12, 2010 Report Posted December 12, 2010 Why is your nation killing Taliban? You might want t check where Canadian troops actually are an what they are doing in Afghanistan. They are there defending Afghanis from those who are helping the US takeover the economy. But we'll be out of there shortly and your American babies will have to wipe their own asses. But again you dodge the real issue - the reasons for going in, in the first place. Its ok to admit that not only don't you know any reason why the Afghanis are killing thousands of your young men and women, but that the US was NOT forced into this war. They went into the middle east on an agenda of taking economic control of the region. Ok....step away from the drugs for a sec...go read the UN and NATO charters....then find out what Canada has done and is doing in Afghanistan. When you finish that, find a Canadian veteran on his/her second or third tour in Afghanistan and spout your tripe to them. Be prepared to eat your teeth. Quote Economics trumps Virtue.

msj Posted December 12, 2010 Report Posted December 12, 2010 Never thought I would find myself agreeing with BC_2004, but there it is. I have answered your infantile questions...you have answered none. Clearly you have no answer for why Canada slays the Taliban, at least not one that won't make you look more foolish than you do already. Quote Economics trumps Virtue.
Shwa Posted December 12, 2010 Report Posted December 12, 2010 Stop whining...you made an ass of yourself for reasons only you understand. Hell, your own nation is fighting the same goddamn war. Awww, muffin. Can't come up with a reasonable answer so he tries to bully with his pink tutu and slippery shoes. You're so cute. I can't wait until you trot out the strawman because a Canadian just kicked your sorry ass on the Internet. You know the straw man? If you don't have a enemy, just make one up. Isn't that right muffy? Quote

You are agreeing with someone who puts his foot in his mouth at the same time his face hits the floor. For the records, here is the simple question that B-C has shown a completely unable to answer, likely because he doesn't have the chops to: When was the last time the US was "forced" into a war? Please give reasons. Oh, his top answer so far? Sometimes the USA just decides to do as it pleases....the UK, Australia, and Poland agreed. Sorry, Canada was largely irrelevant either way. Canuck permission is not required! It makes it all righteous because Poland agrees! Quote
