This person was a member of Throbbing Gristle, an acclaimed art band. I haven't heard of any of these, so I'm going to treat this as a treasure chest of unknown weirdness.

I'm not familiar with the genre, or with Throbbing Gristle's work - by the way.

The list doesn't contain anything by Donovan. It is therefore, by definition, bullcrap. What's more, it looks loaded up with fairly obscure songs, which usually screams of some guy trying to show everyone how big his... record collection is.

He's already a famous musician, and I doubt he needs to show off. So I take it instead as an insider's collection.

Psychedelic music is pointless unless you're on acid, like bebop can be inscrutable unless you're on heroin.

Really???

I happen to like aot of the early Pink Floyd stuff with Syd Barrett....

I've never dropped acid in my life...

Piper at the Gates of Dawn is certainly the best Floyd album. I too have enjoyed it while of sound mind.
