Saipan
Automatic gun was used in recent Canadian history only three time in crime. In all three cases by government employees using government registered guns. Should we outlaw automatic guns for government use?
M.Dancer
That was my question. You forgot what claim you made? Try not to write in morse code. If you want to state something, state is clearly Your claims are irrelevant now? That was fast If you think I made a claim about ammunition, I welcome your search to find it. Saipan
Try not to write in morse code. If you want to state something, state is clearly I did. And with evidence. Firearm ownership has no bearing on homicide OR suicide rate. If you think I made a claim about ammunition, I welcome your search to find it. No need. I ask again: 1) What ammo you used for hunting? 2) Do you think military ammo is illegal? 3) Do you think expanding bullets are illegal? I did. And with evidence. Firearm ownership has no bearing on homicide OR suicide rate. Saipan
This is your claim Your links makes no reference to your claim. OK, let make it one step at a time again. Can you see the homicide rate for Czech Republic, Canada, Jamaica and Mexico in the first link? New World Homicide Rate http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_countries_by_murder_rate Now, can you see the gun laws in Czech Republic in the second link? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gun_politics_in_the_Czech_Republic

What's more, the murder rate does not show the method of murder. In short, your proofs are worthless.
Saipan
And neither show correlation between guns or murder. What's more, the murder rate does not show the method of murder. In short, your proofs are worthless. Whatever your "correlation" means it shows low homicide rate with very liberal gun laws - and vice versa. And that is all you need to know to realize guns have nothing to do with crime. Now you can put your head back in the sand and feel warm and fuzzy. M.Dancer
Whatever your "correlation" means it shows low homicide rate with very liberal gun laws - and vice versa. It means that random data may have no bearing on your conclusions....for example linking guns to homicides when you inculde all homicides....stabbing have ne bearing or correlation to the data..on the otherhand, if you look a homicides committed with firearms... Let me refresh....for you. Murders with firearms per 100,000 Czech Republic 2.07 Canada .50292 Winner, Czech Republic And that is all you need to know to realize guns have nothing to do with crime. Really? How does that jibe with your other unsubstantiated claim? REGISTERED handguns were confiscated from lawabiding citizen in the UK. Gun crime went up. . Either guns and crime are linked as you claim, or guns and crime are not linked, as you claim.
Saipan
It means that random data may have no bearing on your conclusions....for example linking guns to homicides Why any linking? Just facts. There's no link. Either guns and crime are linked as you claim, or guns and crime are not linked, as you claim. Take your pick. Are they linked or not? Makes no difference to me. Same results. I.e. guns do not make people commit crimes. Else we have serious problems with cops and soldiers.

When you're losing debate try belittling and name calling. It'll make you look smarter. And when you calm down try to find evidence firearms make people commit crimes.
