Well it seems that Brian conducted his private affairs in an inappropriate manner. It also seems that the judge finds that the money paid to him were from an account set up for AIRBUS commissions. Yikes !!!!

Rightly so too. Maybe now Iggy can manage not to fumble the bullets while loading the gun.

Sadly,I see Ignatieff ending up shooting himself somehow...

Loading his gun at who? I'm pretty sure that Mulroney isn't running for office anymore!

At Harper, of course! Haven't you heard? Mulroney is now accepted as Harper's longest and best friend!

Forget all those years with the Reform Party! It was all just a misunderstanding!

To be fair, Harper asked for this confusion himself. I guess he thought it was part of the healing process after the Alliance and the old Progressive Conservative parties merged. Trouble was, no sooner had he begun the process of welcoming Mulroney as an "elder statesman" of the new party when the Airbus Scandal broke! Immediately Harper tried to distance himself from Brian but it was too late.

No good deed ever goes unpunished!

Still, have no fear! If Ignatieff stays true to form he will indeed shoot himself in the foot. The man is truly inept.

Brian is yesterdays news - part of the entitled Canuckleheaded system.

Conservatives and Libtards both have them - it is just a fact of life in Canada - land of graft to those who "lead".

If you can ever get more than 35% or whatever percent it was of Canuckleheads to vote - then we might make a change - but Canuckleheads get what they deserve - and some of you are part of that non voting small dog yapping.

So in the end he is done, he is gone and in fact, despite my Conservative leanings I detest the man.

Would not consider offering him a glass of water on a hot day.

His son is little better - but has ridden Daddy's name to some success.

Wasn't Harper in school when Mulroney was PM?

How exactly is this a Harper scandal?

This is like the Kevin Bacon games times one million!

Well they are the TORY party

Does that mean that the Conservatives can tag the Liberals with sponsorship for another 20 years!?

While I'm pretty happy to see Mulroney cut up like that I'd be more interested in seeing him in jail. This really has nothing to do with the present government (the reform formed out of disgust for Mulroney's CPC) so I'm confused why people are trying to make this score points.

Let's all just be happy that a crook has finally been found to be a crook.

I'm not sure how Mulroney's going to serve any jail time, as you cheerleaders are suggesting. His actions were ruled as inappropriate.

No it means they hijacked the name. Now let them reap what they have sown by the un-informed voter!

At least you admit that it's only uninformed voters that don't support the Conservative government. Anyways, let's try and keep things in perspective. Mulroney, 1980's, a couple hundred thousand dollars. Liberals, 1995 - 2004, tens of millions of dollars. You do the math.
