Jack Weber Posted August 2, 2010 Report Posted August 2, 2010 More information than the 9 second clip of part of a sentence with no reference to what was said before or after? Wow. That's information overload! Shady is an Andrew Breitbart disciple... Quote The beatings will continue until morale improves!!!
Jack Weber Posted August 2, 2010 Report Posted August 2, 2010 No, because you're using a dishonest technique called "quote mining". What it shows is you have no honor, and likely no morals. Spot on!!! A two dimensional thinking from Breitbart ideologue.. Low life behaviour from a Yank wannabe... Quote The beatings will continue until morale improves!!!
Shady Posted August 2, 2010 Author Report Posted August 2, 2010 A two dimensional thinking from Breitbart ideologue.. Not sure what you mean by two dimensional thinking. But the video speaks for itself. It's not out of context, and it's not mine quoted. Low life behaviour from a Yank wannabe... You disappoint me Jack. Once again, in an effort to deflect from the real issue, you attack me personally. I'm still trying to figure out why you think calling me a person that wants to be American is some kind of insult? Yes, I wouldn't mind living in the most free and prosperous country in the world. I guess I'm weird that way. Quote
Smallc Posted August 2, 2010 Report Posted August 2, 2010 Yes, I wouldn't mind living in the most free and prosperous country in the world. I guess I'm weird that way. So here's a question - why don't you? Quote
Shady Posted August 2, 2010 Author Report Posted August 2, 2010 So here's a question - why don't you? It takes several years, especially for us White folk. We don't get treated with the same kid gloves that some groups get treated with. That being said, I may start the process. However, not until Obama's out of the White House. I don't expect the job market to be any good until then. Quote
Smallc Posted August 2, 2010 Report Posted August 2, 2010 Well you see, there are those of us that are completely happy (and in love) with this country. I'm not sure I understand where you come from on this issue. There isn't really anything about the US that's significantly better or worse than Canada. It seems to be a personal preference on your part, and as I've said, it's one that I don't understand at all. Quote

dre Posted August 3, 2010 Report Posted August 3, 2010 Get a work visa and go. Friends of mine, my sister in law and many others do it all the time. That depends what you do for a living. Work visas are fairly hard to get for a lot of professions. Theres a couple of "sure thing" professions though... preachers, and live-in nannies. Quote I question things because I am human. It seems to be a personal preference on your part, and as I've said, it's one that I don't understand at all. Hes just a typical conservative hack, and US idolitry is a trait he exhibits because thats what it says to do in the Junior Conservative Handbook. That said... I spend a lot of time on both sides of the border and have worked in the US for more than a decade and in general Americans and Canadians that expect big cultural differences when visiting the other are normally dissapointed. Theres not much difference as far as every day life goes. One major one I noticed is that KFC in the US didnt have fries. Only mashed potatoes, which Canadian KFC's didnt have until a couple of years ago. Also... theres no smarties... only M&Ms. Quote I question things because I am human. punked Posted August 3, 2010 Report Posted August 3, 2010 (edited) Ummm. No. Ummmmm 20,000 people with masters a year are exempt from the Visa cap under H-1B visa rules so ummm yes. Edited August 3, 2010 by punked Quote

Guest American Woman Posted August 3, 2010 Report Posted August 3, 2010 Good thing only 9,400 petitions have applied so far this year for it and all who qualified so far in this year will get them then eh? Yeah, right. Only 9,400 people with "master's degrees in Anything" have applied for a work visa in the United States. But for the record, "all who qualified" is a bit different from it being super easy for anyone with a Master's Degree in anything. Eh? Quote
punked Posted August 3, 2010 Report Posted August 3, 2010 Yeah, right. Only 9,400 people with "master's degrees in Anything" have applied for a work visa in the United States. But for the record, "all who qualified" is a bit different from it being super easy for anyone with a Master's Degree in anything. Eh? Yeah 9,400 so far is the number quoted by the US Citizenship and Immigration Services, that counts all people who have applied under that section of H-B-1 with the exemption. Those who aren't qualified from those 9,400 will be denied so the number will be well below the 20,000 limit. Seriously. Quote
dre Posted August 3, 2010 Report Posted August 3, 2010 If you have a masters in Anything it is super easy. No, not really. I work recruiting foreign employees for a medium sized US company, and it can actually be really hard to get work visas especially in the IT sector, esspecially for computer programmers. Its much much easier to move the jobs themselves out of the US than to move the workers in. Quote I question things because I am human. And call no one my father who's no closer than a stranger

I guess I'm weird that way. By two dimensional I mean you only see things through a certain ideological persepctive(just like Punked, mind you),and deem anything that does'nt agree with that perspective as bad and even scary...Kinda like your hero,Mr.Beck.In fact, you are just like every other Freerepublic/Freedominion bonehead that I've ever run into. You are prepared to take at face value, the lies and doctored video evidence that fits your ideological slant,by slimey scum that are promoting an agenda you agree with.Punked nailed you on the NAACP thing last week and he ripped you a new one here. You no longer deserve the benefit of the doubt you think you deserve. You've sided with scum that you agree with, and when it's been found out that that scum was nothing but manipulative scum, you've continued to back them. I don't doubt that you think being a Yank wannabe is some sort of badge of honour....And it's my pleasure to dissapoint the likes of you...But that just proves what you really are...A sell out, traitor.I've exposed three(3) here in the last two months. All seem to have the same penis envy for our neighbours to the south. My suggestion? You could try such erudite places as Arkansas..Or Wyoming...Or Alaska...Or Montana.Ya'know, places where you could safely insulate yourself from those society infecting non-conservatives... Hurry up and leave. A few less sell out kooks in our midst is'nt going to hurt this country at all!!! Edited August 3, 2010 by Jack Weber Quote The beatings will continue until morale improves!!!

I didn't say I was ashamed to live in Canada. Aren't you the same person who was so outraged by the Breitbart video that was taken out of context? Aren't you the same person who was so outraged by the falsehoods attributed to Ms. Sherrod? Interesting. I guess that doesn't stop you from pursuing your own Breitbart out of context falsehoods against me huh? You giant hypocrite. Practice what you preach! I love living in Canada. However, I wouldn't mind living in the United States either. Which is what I said. I thought I'd mention that because you continue to spew out your bigoted so-called insult about me being a wanna be American. As if that's somehow a bad thing. That says more about your screwed up mindset than it does about me. Quote
