bush_cheney2004 Posted March 18, 2010 Report Posted March 18, 2010 .... The only reason that I can think of is because of our smaller market...or because we're getting screwed. Airline prices are understandable because of the higher fees, but the difference of certain items that are absolutely not understandable. So what is cheaper in Canada? Sealskin hats? nicky10013 Posted March 18, 2010 Author Report Posted March 18, 2010 ...but you still went to the USA....and you will be back. Yep, there's nothing like Buffalo....really, there's nothing like it. Not in a good way, either. Quote
Smallc Posted March 18, 2010 Report Posted March 18, 2010 Well, 8 months ago, cars were within one percent, books on sale were the same price, and coffee at Starbucks was cheaper by a few cents in Canada. That's all I can say from the examples given. Of course, things like books on regular price are more than 10% more in Canada. Tires...I wouldn't even want to imagine the percentage difference, it's huge. Quote

Guest American Woman Posted March 18, 2010 Report Posted March 18, 2010 (edited) Yep....just to see how bad things really are down there.... Yes, of course. Because Buffalo and Slurpee prices tell the whole story. Edited March 18, 2010 by American Woman Quote
Born Free Posted March 20, 2010 Report Posted March 20, 2010 Yes, of course. Because Buffalo and Slurpee prices tell the whole story. Glad you notice my post was meant to be tongue-in-cheek. Arguing over whether the US or Canada has higher salaries or higher disposable income is such a waste of energy. I for one am interested in seeing what the Republican plan is for health care reform. I wonder if it will be ready in time for the mid term election.... Quote
