I read 1984 after I saw VFV, I liked 'em both.

That was a pretty good watch.

You should give Zeitgeist a watch, it is divided into 3 parts, 1st is religion, 2nd 9/11, 3rd the federal reserve.

The first 2 parts are alright but if you are willing to watch any of them, watch the 3rd part.

This is the kind of thing people should watch and understand Alan Watt did a very good job in his analysis, and for the most part I think he is correct.

I've seen Zietgiest, and it's great in execution, and I feel the message is clear, but I don't think it is these 'secret societies', it is more or less a bunch of evil men doing all the crap. Because it only takes a few to ruin it for the rest of us. As the saying goes 'this is why we can't have nice things'.

I know Alex Jones is not liked, and people think he is insane. However most of what he reports on is from MSM articles. he is just connecting the dots no one else wants to consider. Is he right? Not sure yet, but much of what he says is pretty evident and staring at you in the face. Even when the government admits wrongdoing, no one is upset about it. No one cares. Why is that? Why are we overall more complacent than we ever were?

But go back to the TV. All is double plus good.

I knew a fellow years ago who was an editor with one of the Metroland papers. He got his start in journalism (if you can call it that) back in montreal with a family of papers now owned by the American Media Company. They had a staff of 4 who used about 20 different bylines. They also subscribed to just about every news (wire) service available. Every moring they would assemble to go over everything that came through the wire....and re -write it according to their style. A meteor shower would become a UFO story...a child with blood disorder would be a vampire, and so on..they would call the individuals and ask questions that would lead to out of context quotes..and the papers were hugely succesful with a dedicated audience.

Alex Jones is the internet version of those papers, now known as Midnight Globe, National Examiner, Weekly World news....

If you listen to Alex Jones interview Peter Joseph the creator of the Zeitgeist movies, you will see why I dislike Alex Jones. Alex can be very repetitive and close minded to new ideas. I don't completely right off Alex Jones but I would rather listen to something like Coast to Coast A.M.

As for government wrongdoings, it blows my mind that nobody was charged for lying about WMD's being in Iraq.

I don't know if we are more compliant then ever before, that being said, I never lived anytime before now so I can't really say for sure.

You gotta take everything with some salt, unfortunately. Some of what he says is out there for sure. But he was getting at the chemicals that are put into making these containers, and how they are able to keep items fresh for so long. The chemicals in the bags can cause some unwanted effects apparently.

But there is some truth in what he says. Recently here in Canada, the plastic bisphenol A has been banned as other plastics are now coming under fire.

I thought this was a recent banning, but it looks like its been in place for over a year now. So it may not make you gay, but it has the potential to alter a child's behavior and such. They link it to neurological disorders.

If you have not noticed, main stream media has already been doing the same thing for some years. This is why you see articles on CNN that come from AP or other sources. Or an article in CBC states that it was written by CNN. Or the same AP article will be in many other news sources.

I'll play your game here a bit, Alex does this for the tin foil hat people, while the same material is packaged in a different way by different people for other groups you want to target. You can package the same story in a different way that will give you essentially the same info, but it would be targeted to let's a government rep (either a dem, rep, conservative liberal ect ect ect) or it can be targeted to appeal to a soldier .. whatever. So overall the info is the same across the board and it does matter how it is packaged. That much is apparent to me.

The first one is interesting it at least for the first part where they talk about religion and how there have been many jesus type characters throughout history. The sun sets, resurrection, 3 kings (the stars). Jesus was not the first, but the last of these types. Each had brought in some new age, which is the astrological ages, (next one being Aquarius). Currently we are in the age of Pisces. It's simply astrological in nature and describes in a way how we are moving through time and space.

Essentially it is an attempt at debunking religion. And hinting at that we can be fooled with the right words and tone of voice.

It isn't so much a movie about exposing the new world order but a movie that looks at a possible alternative approach to running a sustainable society.

Actually exposing those who run this so called new world order is a good thing because they do not want to be known. They'd rather stay in the shadows. This does not worship them, it exposes them.
