lots of subjective words here "intolerably"? how do you determine that someone is intolerantly devoted to his opinion?...

Maybe... if someone asserts something without backing it up,... or refusing to back it up... especially despite mountains of counter-evidence... but

I made an informed opinion (based on a news clipping from a somewhat reputable source), and even "accurately" predicted the reaction to it...

in this instance "my prejudice" was bang on... my mere mentioning of this news clipping (which is NOT my opinion) would cause people WHO ARE bigots (ie: people who call other people injurious labels and names when they say something they don't like without qualifications.. as you did) to lash out emotionally and irrationally.

The mother's attorney said the teenager was a normal girl, a cheerleader in Ohio, and what Muslim extremist would allow his daughter be a cheerleader?

In a court filing Monday, John Stemberger, Rifqa Bary's attorney and president of the Christian advocacy organization Florida Family Policy Council, accused the parents' Ohio mosque of having ties to terrorism and radical Islam. The Noor Islamic Cultural Center has denied the allegations.

If it's true they are extremists if not the attorney is just fear mongering

At a court hearing scheduled for Thursday in Orlando, the parents will have an opportunity to respond to the allegations against them. Their attorney said the parents will deny all allegations.

It's still an on going thing.

After hearing the Muslim father speak - I could tell he loved his daughter and wanted her home - all slander against him is systemic--I will mention this once again - about the time one of my daughters layed in hospital - next to her was a Muslim woman who was dying - her husband and son were very kind and tender towards their family member - and ...when no secularist - Jew of nominal Christain would bring my daughter a glass of water - the young Muslim boy took it upon himself to quench her thirst - and why you might ask? Well because I showed care and love for this family - and made friends - they were fine people - and those that choose to hate other races and religions - will also hate their own..so to hell with the bigots.

I don't know enough about this particular case to have an opinion as to whether this girl is actually in danger.

However, it is credible that this girl might be in danger because we know that young women have been killed for "dishonoring their families" and disobeying their faith and whatever. We also know that Muslim apostates do sometimes get killed. (Surely we recall the guy sentenced by a court to die in Afghanistan for leaving Islam.)

You can't out of hand reject the possibility that this girl might be in legitimate danger after what happened in Kingston.

Yeah, but as I pointed out: when was the last time you heard of Jews killing an apostate?

There's definitely some wacky crap in the Old Testament. I mean, doesn't Deuteronomy also say that you should be slaughtered for eating shellfish or working on Saturdays? Yet, it doesn't happen.

You can't say it doesn't happen with Islam, because we know it happens.

Hey - wait...I remember an incident...I was stuck with my family in that nasty place called Scarborough - for a couple of years..not that I would move to such a place through my own free will. It was due to a bad set of circumstances. Anyway my pale skinned blonde son enrolled in one of the local schools where he was a minority. The Muslims students were allowed a "prayer room" AND they got use of one of the washrooms to do their ritutal washing. My son wandered in and one dark eyed little bastard looked at my son ....and said - "My feet are cleaner than your head" - The little Muslim elitist jerk held my son in contempt and loathing...because he was very white......The Muslim gave it no thought that my family were ancient orthodox Christians - who had everything contained in our blood line including being Muslims at one time - Not to mention every other damned religion on earth.....The MUSLIM assumed my son and my family were dirty infidels ----I would say that we are more holy than them - but do I persecute them? NO!
