bush_cheney2004 Posted June 19, 2009 Report Posted June 19, 2009 BC - how come you know so many technical details about the American Military - are you a general? Hey, I'm just an armchair admiral now. A young man can have a very good time on a WestPac deployment, but I'm too old now. Back then, China had used broke-dick Soviet boats, and Canada knows what that is like! Quote Economics trumps Virtue.

Back then, China had used broke-dick Soviet boats, and Canada knows what that is like! You laughing at that second hand British sub we bought that sunk immediately? No one told us that our mother land had crooks that would sell a rusty can to the colony - we assumed that those with British accents were not liars ----you know the drill - those who sound like they were raised in New York all sound like pool hustlers playing on nerve.... Admiral hugh? Has your arm chair got a little wheel on it? Do you have anchors on the reckroom wall? So did the lawn get cut ??? I had to good a time last night - I feel so guilty and a bit under hydrated....on the story goes - better not chat uselessly ---that Anthony fellow might come along and sink your battle ship --...not much to say...other than that.....BC never say you are to old. Greying hair is the glory of light - and when the skin grows thin and loose - that is so you can move faster! Quote

OTOH, safe operating procedures are written in salty blood. So did the lawn get cut ??? Yes....without any Chinese lawnmower too! BC never say you are to old. Not being an expert is such matters - but who the hell checks out the product? - looks the sub over and says - Okay - lets drop 50 million for this peace of crap...don't we have experienced people buying military hardware in Canada---oh yah -- that Malroney thing - wonder if they figured out that those covered wagons coated in thin plate can not withstand a blast...... was the mower - a Briggs and Straton?...those babies go on for ever.. as for the youth that you granted the young - steal a bit back - they won't notice.. Yea baby...B&S with capacitor electric start and self-propelled wheels. Chinese havn't figured it out yet, but they will copy sooner or later. as for the youth that you granted the young - steal a bit back - they won't notice.. Oleg Bach Posted June 19, 2009 Report Posted June 19, 2009 Zits and tits..did you just make that up? You are a comedic one...don't think that the folks in China will ever figure out the mechanics of the wheel drive mower --- unless we send them a scrap one..that's what happened with Japan - the biggest mistake America made was leaving beer cans behind after the war - started off a toy industry..then they saved up the cans and went big---cars! It still is amazing how Jamacian steel drums came into existance - old fuel dumps for air craft ---seems that we had better stop showing other our garbage..Is there a paper shredder device for computers? Hey, over in Iraq and Afghanistan, the best place to live is near an American dump. This was true in the PI (Philippines) too over 40 years ago. The dump is a great place to go if you don't mind seagulls and the smell. Maybe they don't have any suburban grass lawns in China. Quote Economics trumps Virtue.

China is America in the 50s in some respects - they will have lawns soon - plasitic turf...and they will want cars soon - a billion of them - and as we trade with them - and insist that we go green - black smoke will come from the other side of the world and still choke us...amazing - everybody wants to be America - sadly - the planet can only support one American phenomina ONCE....so what are we thinking --- just love the environmentalist that lobby to go green who are funded by those that buy product from China... Yah - as kids --- we used to wander across about 5 miles of farmland and woods and visit the local dump---it was cool - lots of pools of strange liquid back in 1959.....and its all still there ----flowing with the ground water under the Magna head quarters and private golfing compound....I know the history of the area - cos' it's my turf...just like you know your own back yard - but the newly arrived opportunist movers and shakers don't have a clue of the make up of a nation...or of land. Oleg Bach Posted June 19, 2009 Report Posted June 19, 2009 Our friend in China is showing us that they have green grass there..nice - but something got lost in the translation --- I don't think they know what a suburban lawn is. Let me explain - a suburb is domestic developement around a major city - the houses are privately owned ( well the banks own them) Each family have their OWN property --- there is a back yard (open green space to have recreational fun and grow a garden if you wish) and a FRONT YARD...That is covered in perfectly cut grass - grass so well maintained that it looks like a carpet....these green carpets represent what a good citizen you are and usually measure the social worth of the family - the nicer the lawn - the higher the class....seems to keep them happy.. and feeling like they really own land ---but it takes about 25 years to pay the bank for the loan and by then you are dead. Oleg Bach Posted June 19, 2009 Report Posted June 19, 2009 I get the message - those in China are humans..they love life - they love the earth - they love to see things grow - for food and for the pleasure and beauty growing things provide...yes the pictures are very beautiful - but - people must have time to enjoy the world - building a huge powerful nation takes up a lot of time - as they say in the west - "you have to stop and smell the roses" Thank You for the tour....let me check if a kidney is missing...sorry - I could not help but joke.. Someone had better show the suburban lawn to this person...I think we are dealing with an offshore account at mapleleaf...well -----take a picture of the grass someone...hurry up - we got some diplomacy going on here..
