Why many Canadian people have inaccurate knowledge of China

Recommended Posts

This was a very important exchange - It showed the foundation of the culture that was Britian - that IS America and Canada - each man was given and granted his own little kingdom - this is based on the doctrine of Christianity - a King that granted kingship to all - so hence we all have our suburban lawn - and we all have the privledge of kings - where as under the communist system as we saw - China could not provide a picture of singular ownership and person pride in the form of a lawn.. We say very nice public areas - communal farming - and it seems to work..perhaps in 50 years they will have their own individual freedoms and kingdoms..for now - it looks like we have the better way...the similarities between nations is - those that work - are rewarded with green and green makes green in America - with no effort all you get is the brown..in China - individuality has been removed - so it's a choice of living like an insect in a very nice hive or a king and a castle surrounded by your own land no matter how small - make me wonder what the socialist are thinking -

Furthermore - there is a will in China to reform and create a heaven of their own - maybe it's time we trusted them? If we love them will they love back..a thousand years of being suspect of each other will take a little time to over come..but we have no choice - they are not leaving and we are not leaving...so lets be friends - BUT don't pull a fast one - we are twice as cruel as you if need be.

Yah regretabley we are just like you...I have not done one for a while - I avoided the suburban life all my life - It's either the country side or smack down town - don't like being in storage..if you know what I mean - no offense BC - but I hold your creepy suburban ass in utter contempt...what were you thinking

Of course...I would not respect anything less. My brother lives in Midtown Manhattan...wouldn't know a lawn mower from a snow blower. He likes the smell of urine in the subway just as much as I like the smell of fresh cut grass.

Did not found by search.

I can take some next time I visit China, I hope it will be on October.

(The sidewalk style is different in China.)

You are very lucky to be able to see both worlds - my grandfather was old Russian - he lived very close to the boarder of Mongolia - my relatives are blonde with some eastern features - even the ones from the Ukraine - where China had marched through and fathered many children...funny - I say this little old woman - who was from China - I see here once in a while - she looks exactly like a sister of my older brothers mother in law. I guess that those who settled eastern Sibera still have a connection with China - after all this time...hello again.

I was born in England - been in Canada since I was one year old...my parents were musicians as am I - but I am a westerner ---been here all my life - but we did have eastern culture in my house as I was growing up. The old Russian culture is gone - I was raised by a pre-revoltionary father - It took a long time for communism to spread east --- to where my grand father was....so I am what is left of the late 1800s ...the old way ---You are younger - I am almost 60 - It would be sweet to go back in time and see - China and Russia before revolution -- to taste the culture - somehow a bit still lives in me - and when I am gone - it will be gone - and my children will never know the old ways...nice meeting you my friend.

Spy from the sky.

They have a hell of an internet intelligence and propoganda service - can get nasty - I don't bother with them anymore-- in the past I did a lot of posting on an American site...had some interaction with them - hard nose bunch - and threatening if you provoked them.

They have their angels and their demons ---what was interesting is how after I mentioned to them that the killing during the revolution damaged their gene pool and left a bunch of twits in power --- the response was to send pictures of slim Asian females - followed by pigishly obesse Amerian females - dozens arrived - degrading western females and most certainly they teach their own that our woman are bloated gluttonous pigs...so the banter went on for a while - they somehow got my location ---Toronto - mentioned the airport --- and how a very sexy woman from China was going to arrive and kill me - (half jokingly) but it was disturbing--as we know only few highly trained individuals are allowed international internet access.

I see China has a very old and tired power making a last run at it on a kind of Viagra called Marxism.

Much like Iran --- where the "religious" gangsterous dictatorship still over rides the vote - NOW the old guard is dying off---and we see youth who are the very presense of god and goodness in a state of revolt against the old men pretending to be god...same in China - time removes all.

You can see what you want. I see a very large economic powerhouse in the midst of dragging its ass out of the last century and into the next. That nation can out produce any other on the entire planet. It can consume its own products and more of everyone elses than anybody else. This makes them a force to be reckoned with.

You would do well to consider carefully, where that nation has been, where it is going, and how it plans to get there.

That is not true. I was able to browse any US website in 1996, at that time there have no filter. Now they only filter out some site they think not good. The main barrier is English. Although every Chinese learn English for more than 10 years, the vocabulary is too limited for them to understand English.

Hence "suburban lawn" as compared to green pastures ..... We don't filter out any sites that come out of China. We take the good and the bad and we decide...what is good for us and what is not ---- but ---- I can argue all I want and the conclution that I am coming to after interacting with Bush Cheney today - and seeing the suburban lawn --- was that we both live under a type of communism - difference is we are experts and have refined the sytem - China is new at the game.

Very true....our young Indian contract employees know that they have a huge advantage over the Chinese.....command of the King's English.

Chinese are good workers, but have less confidence.

I got to know a displace teacher from China - had quite a few meeting with him - he was terrified of being deported..he was always on the verge of fainting . A fine man - they would have eaten him alive if he was sent back - he had no confidence what so ever - I don't believe the authorities in China are big on instilling indiviual atonomy or confidence in their populace..it would be contrary to their system.

But Iran doesn't use a western ideology to boost its GDP.

Spot on.....it is not their nature. We had to teach Yao Ming to be a bad ass on the court.
