betsy Posted April 9, 2011 Author Report Posted April 9, 2011 (edited) Dawkins message is loud and clear. I'll only debate Bishops and Cardinals. I'll even settle for the Pope. Heck, blonde bimbos are very much welcome too! But please, no Creationist scientists!!!! Emphasis on SCIENTISTS! I hear ya. Edited April 9, 2011 by betsy Quote

Even Michael Behe doesn't deny evolution. Quote

Where's your logic in that reply? Creationist scientists have challenged Dawkins and his pals to a grand debate....and Dawkins/pals all cowered away! And you wonder why I often times ignore you? CANADIEN Posted April 16, 2011 Report Posted April 16, 2011 People who understand science know deep down that a public debate with creationist "scientists" is a waste of time except for the entertainment value. Nothing cowardless or fearful in that, just common sense. The same way it is a waste of time to expect rational debate with Holocaust deniers or truthers. Quote

If it's a waste of time debating creationist scientists....can you explain then why he wants to debate bishops and cardinals?? Where's the "common sense" in that? Edited April 16, 2011 by betsy Quote

No surprise here, you do not see the difference between a debate on God, faith, religion, and a debate about science with people (creationists) who have no understanding of what science actually is. cybercoma Posted April 17, 2011 Report Posted April 17, 2011 If it's a waste of time debating creationist scientists....can you explain then why he wants to debate bishops and cardinals?? Where's the "common sense" in that? Creationists somehow think their idea of creationism is antithetical to evolution. Dawkins will debate with bishops and cardinals because they can and should by all rights accept evolution, since it's a fact at this point, while still maintaining their belief in God. Dawkins has moved on from the God Delusion, near as I can tell, and has focused his sights on attacking those that deny evolution. It's patently absurd to do so, even if you are creationist. Quote

There is already a response to your argument. In numerous thread. Please refer to them. Quote
