Oleg Bach Posted March 11, 2009 Report Posted March 11, 2009 ...and I've heard of another place.... called Millhaven Penitentiary in Bath, Ontario.... aka 'Gitmo North.192610 10MAR2009 CDT Yah _ I knew the family of the "most dangerous woman in Canada" Years back - Marlyin Moore - she was simply an abuse girl from a family of 14 children - she died naked chained to the floor of one of our wonderfuyl prisons - I guess this unwashed and foul mouth young woman deserved what she got - so ....disgustingly poor. Oh and that old Don Jail - of course the old section which was a dugeon is closed down - but for the last twenty years they have been cramming 5 to a cell - that is meant for two - men sleep with a toilet bowl touching their face...and the city jails are very Americanized - packed with blacks - they were civilized correctional facilities at one time now they are stroage houses for societys blunders...BC - has a point - we are just as backward as our American brothers - who have lost sight of the idea of protection and correction of the convicted....even the unconvicted are held for weeks at a time and are force to take invasive medical monkey buisness...The dark side of Canada....I have had a look personally in all the good places and have had a peek at the sad and bad. No I am not a crimminal - nore are most of the prisoners in our jails. Quote

I'm sure if Canada had the size/power of the U.S. they would be doing a lot of the same garbage (and they do as you often point out, but in much smaller scale). I'm not anti-U.S., i'm anti-immoral bullcrap. Quote "All generalizations are false, including this one." - Mark Twain Partisanship is a disease of the intellect.

Make friends with the Americans on a one too one personal level- sucking up to them because they are big and have all the money (ooops - that's no longer an issue) was really cowardly and wanting on our parts _ America has millions of wonderful and beautiful people....Look at our member Bush/Cheney...hard nose - well informed no-nonsense of a guy...but stop fearing him and treat him well and underneath it all is the makings of a warm hearted REAL friendship - not based on trade but respect and love...We must change our whole out look on America that corporate entity and start to make friends with the individuals...It's time - we grew up and behaved like trusting and mature independent men and woman...kissing American butt is like sucking up to your rich uncle who leaves you NOTHING in the will because he knows you are insincere.. This could be the begining of a beautiful friendship - what movie was that out of? Quote
Danni Posted March 12, 2009 Report Posted March 12, 2009 So when it says 'Harsh' it means torture, right? Don't you just love how the Bush Admin changes words around? To freaking hilarious, as if that makes it different. Quote

Of course there is NO smugness in chanting USA USA USA !!!! What good are morals if only a few live by them? OMG did BC just try to derail the thread by talking about Canada again??? No dictionary required.....we need only make generalizations like this: 1) The Americans are arrogant in a way that bespeaks the wretched excess of power. 2) Lacking such power in the shadow of the arrogant Americans, Canadians have opted for smug "moral superiority" instead. That's why Crown Royal comes in those fine purple bags! Quote Economics trumps Virtue.

His tenure was all about the family legacy - so revisionism must take place - Can't imagine his mum or dad - who have egos the size of stainless hardened steel mountains to tolerate a bad historical report card on George's presidency - better hire some good writers...and maybe bribe a good editor. Trudeau did not have to go to sleep at night and think " Maybe I really did not have to do what I did to get attention and control - maybe 50 thousand people did not have to die..maybe I was wrong - maybe I should have been stronger and followed my heart instead - doing what was expected by those with no respect for the nation that gave them wealth - and no respect for human life or the property of others...maybe there is a hell at the end of the road - maybe --------------see yah - wouldn't wanna be yah - or him.
